The intensive two-day screening was more than just a formality; it was a thorough assessment of the character and readiness of aspiring full-time volunteers. The evaluation prioritized long-term commitment, individual responsibility, and a fundamental alignment with SVOโ€™s mission of impactful community service.

By meticulously vetting each candidate for their dedication and skill, SVO ensures that its newest members are fully prepared to transform organizational values into meaningful action.

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | Sagibin Volunteers Organization (SVO) participated in Day 3 of AGHAMDUMANAN 2.0 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Program at the ASU-Kalibo Technest Room on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Maichael Scott Birrell, John Lester Sarabia, and Ronald Allan Perucho together with Aron Job Molo, DOST Scholar, led the review session tackling the Logical and Reasoning topics through sharing their expertise to help students strengthen their comprehension, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills.

The activity was held under Project EAST (Empowering Akeanon-Bukidnon thru Science and Technology) an initiative aimed at developing competencies for careers in science and technology while enhancing the academic preparedness of Akeanon-Bukidnon youth to the upcoming Undergraduate DOST Scholarship examination.

The Sagibin Volunteer Organization (SVO), together with SEA Teachers from Indonesia and faculty members of the Aklan State Universityโ€“College of Teacher Education (ASU-CTE), visited the Ati Community in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan on January 31, 2025.

The visit aimed to foster understanding between communities and strengthen collaboration through volunteerism, in line with Aklan State Universityโ€™s vision of mainstreaming volunteer service within the university.
