Filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (𝗖𝗢𝗖) for 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜 2026 is now officially 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡! 🔰⚜️

The University Student Council now welcomes all aspiring leaders who are ready to step forward, serve the student body, and take part in shaping a more responsive, inclusive, and empowered ASU Banga.

𝗜. 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗢𝗖 🗳️

1. Interested applicants may secure and download the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) forms through the official University Student Council page. Each form includes the qualifications and requirements for each position.

2. After downloading, candidates must print and accomplish the form completely and legibly. Ensure that all required information is correctly and honestly filled out.

3. Submit the accomplished COC personally at the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS). Kindly look for the designated COMELEC/OSAS personnel assigned to receive election documents.

4. All required attachments must be placed in a properly organized white folder upon submission:
• Photocopy of current semester registration form
• Certificate of Grades from the previous semester with validated GWA from the Dean’s Office

5. Candidates must ensure that all requirements are complete upon submission. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜 2026 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 🗓️

The official calendar of activities for the 2026 University Student Council (USC) Election is has 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱. 🔰✨

Grounded in the values of democratic participation, accountability, and student empowerment, this process invites the entire student body to actively take part in shaping the next set of leaders who will represent 𝗔𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮.

𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿:

The 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗰𝘆 will run from 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 16 to 23 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, where aspiring student leaders may officially submit their applications to run for the University Student Council positions. This period marks the first step for those who are ready to commit themselves to service and leadership. ✍🏻📑

On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 23, the 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 of 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 will be officially announced, confirming those who have met the requirements and are 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 to 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 to the next stage of the electoral process.

On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 24, an 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for all qualified candidates will be conducted to ensure that everyone is properly guided on the rules, responsibilities, and expectations throughout the campaign and election period. 📝🌾

The 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱 will take place from 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 24 to 29, where candidates are given the opportunity to present their platforms, engage with students, and share their vision for the university. This period is a time for informed choice and meaningful dialogue within the student body.

On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 29, the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 2026 will be held, serving as the culminating event of the campaign period where candidates are given a final platform to address the student body and present their leadership vision. 🗣️🎤

𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 will be on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 30, where students will exercise their right to vote and directly choose the leaders who will represent their interests and welfare for the next term.

From 𝗠𝗮𝘆 1 to 2, 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 will be conducted to ensure transparency, accuracy, and integrity in the counting and validation of votes cast during the election.

On 𝗠𝗮𝘆 3, the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 will be released, formally recognizing the newly elected University Student Council officers. 📢🎉

Finally, on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 4, the 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆 will be held to officially install and recognize the new set of student leaders who will take on the responsibility of serving the 𝗔𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.

The 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 officially opens the vacant positions for 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 (1), 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 (1), 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 (12), and 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 (1 per college) and its qualifications based on Article XII Section 2-5 of the USC Constitution and By-Laws—inviting a new generation of student leaders to rise, take action, and make a difference.

This April to May 2026, a 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 begins as 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦, and 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥. This is more than an election—it is a movement of 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦, a 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 grounded in integrity, and a 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 for what the student body truly 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴. 🔰🌾

With the theme, "𝗞𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗢𝗡 𝟱.𝟬: 𝟏𝟎𝟖 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬" ASU Banga celebrates the meaningful century and eight years of its foundation through a virtual gathering on April 10, 2026 in partnership with the 100.9 𝗗𝗬𝗠𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼.

Highlighting various contest categories and segments, the celebration presented an array of displays for the ASUians to enjoy, namely: The ASU History Video Making Contest, Infographics Making Contest, and the E-Jingle Video Making Competition.

The success of the event marked the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 for the major events this year under the leadership of the present administration.

In line with the milestone achieved through this celebration, the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 Officers of ASU Banga are beyond grateful to the people who extended their help and support along the way.
