𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 13th Sunday Formation Successfully Conducted

The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps of Davao Oriental State University Banaybanay Campus successfully conducted its 13th Sunday Formation last May 17, 2026, under the supervision of our ROTC Coordinator Daniele Jr J Baldoz together with our Chief Clerk, TSg Joenel M Barranco (Inf) PA, with the active guidance of the Training Staff and 2nd Class officers.

The formation highlighted the cadets’ discipline, unity, and commitment to leadership training as they continuously uphold the core values of the ROTC program. Through proper supervision and organized activities, the cadets were able to strengthen teamwork, responsibility, and military bearing.

The ROTC Unit remains committed to shaping disciplined and service-oriented student cadets who are prepared to become future leaders and partners in nation-building.

Today, we celebrate the birth of TSg Joenel M Barranco (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk of the DORSU Banaybay Campus Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit!

He has consistently shown professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to service. His work keeps our unit organized, efficient, and moving forward supporting our operations, cadets, and personnel with the dedication that defines true military excellence.

🩸 BLOODLETTING ACTIVITY: SERVING BEYOND DUTY 🩸

True service goes beyond drills and formations and our ROTC unit lived out this value through our active participation in a bloodletting activity, a meaningful initiative that embodies our commitment to compassion, solidarity, and service to the community.

Leading and supporting this noble endeavor were our key officials: ROTC Coordinator Deniel Jr J Baldoz, together with our Chief Clerk TSg Joenel M Barranco (Inf) PA. The entire activity was closely supervised and guided by our Training Staff and 2nd Class personnel, ensuring the process remained organized, safe, and orderly for all participants who stepped forward to donate.

Every drop of blood shared is a chance to save a life, a simple yet powerful act of heroism that reflects the heart. Through this activity, we do not only train to be capable defenders of the nation, but also compassionate citizens ready to extend help and care to those in need.

Service is not just a duty it is a way of life, and we are proud to stand together in this mission to give back and make a difference.

12TH SUNDAY FORMATION | MAY 10, 2026

Stoood as a ground of discipline and training as our ROTC unit conducted its 12th Sunday Formation, focused on intensive company drill practice to sharpen cadets’ precision, coordination, and unit cohesion.

The drill exercises were led and taught by our skilled 1st Class from "DORSU MAIN CAMPUS" who guided every movement and command with expertise and clarity. Present to oversee and support the activity were key officials: The entire session was closely supervised by our ROTC Coordinator Deniel Jr J Baldoz, together with Chief Clerk TSg Joenel M Barranco (Inf) PA with the ROTC Training Staff and 2nd Class cadet leaders, ensuring strict adherence to standards, proper ex*****on of drills, and constructive learning for all participants.

Every step, command, and formation movement served as more than just practice it was a step toward building competent, disciplined, and service-oriented cadets who embody the core values of duty, honor, and country. Through consistent training and teamwork, we continue to build a stronger, more capable reserve force rooted in excellence.

11th Sunday Formation | May 3, 2026

Discipline, unity, and leadership once again marked the successful conduct of the 11th Sunday Formation of the ROTC Unit held on May 3, 2026. The activity was led by our ROTC Coordinator, Deniel Jr. J. Baldoz, together with our Chief Clerk, TSg Joenel M Barranco (Inf) PA, under the supervision of the Training Staff and 2nd Class Officers.

The formation served as another opportunity for cadets to strengthen their discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service. Through proper drills, guidance, and leadership, the activity continued to instill the values of patriotism, responsibility, and excellence among future reservists.

As the semester progresses, the ROTC Unit remains committed to shaping disciplined patriots who are ready to serve the nation with honor and integrity.
