📢 AVAS FOUNDATION STANDS WITH OUR KATUTUBO!

Ang tunay na pag-unlad ay hindi dapat ipinipilit—ito ay dapat pinag-uusapan, pinagkakasunduan, at may malayang pahintulot ng mismong komunidad.

Naninindigan ang AVAS Foundation sa pagsuporta sa ating mga Katutubo sa kanilang panawagan na igalang ang kanilang mga karapatan, kultura, at lupang ninuno.

Kung may mga proyektong ipatutupad sa loob ng Ancestral Domain, nararapat lamang na magkaroon ng malinaw, bukas, at makabuluhang konsultasyon sa buong Tribal Community alinsunod sa mga umiiral na batas na nagpoprotekta sa karapatan ng mga Indigenous Peoples.

Ang aming panawagan:
✅ Igalang ang boses ng mga Katutubo.
✅ Siguruhing may tunay na konsultasyon sa komunidad.
✅ Unahin ang kapakanan ng kalikasan at ng susunod na henerasyon.
✅ Isulong ang pag-unlad na may katarungan, respeto, at pananagutan.

Ang AVAS Foundation ay patuloy na magiging katuwang ng ating mga Katutubo sa mapayapang pagtatanggol ng kanilang mga lehitimong karapatan.

NASAAN ANG NCIP NA DAPAT MAGPROTEKTA SA MGA KATUTUBO?

Ang NCIP ay itinatag upang pangalagaan ang karapatan, kultura, at lupang ninuno ng ating mga Katutubo.

Ngunit sa tuwing may mga isyung kinakaharap ang ating mga komunidad, maraming nagtatanong:

Nasaan ang NCIP? Sino ang kanilang tunay na ipinaglalaban?
Marami ang nagtatanong kung sapat ba ang kanilang pagkilos, o kung bakit tila nananatiling tahimik sa mga usaping direktang nakaaapekto sa mga Katutubo.

Kung may mga opisyal na hindi na nagsisilbi sa interes ng ating mga Katutubo, panahon na upang managot sila sa taumbayan.

Ang ating lupang ninuno ay hindi ipinagbibili. Ang ating kinabukasan ay hindi dapat isakripisyo.

Panawagan: Magsalita ang NCIP. Ipaliwanag sa sambayanan kung ano ang inyong ginagawa upang protektahan ang karapatan at kapakanan ng ating mga Katutubo.

📢 KATUTUBONG AETA AT PAX SILICA HUB PH: PAG-UNLAD BA O PAGKAWASAK?

Hindi laban sa pag-unlad ang mga Katutubong Aeta. Ang ipinaglalaban nila ay ang kanilang karapatan sa lupaing ninuno, malinis na tubig, sariwang hangin, at isang ligtas na kinabukasan.
Kung ang isang proyekto ay magdadala ng pag-unlad, dapat itong magbigay ng malinaw na kasagutan sa mahahalagang tanong:

🌱 Paano mapoprotektahan ang kalikasan?
💧 Saan manggagaling ang napakalaking suplay ng tubig?
⚡ Ano ang magiging epekto sa likas na yaman at mga komunidad?
🏞️ Paano mapapangalagaan ang Ancestral Domain at kultura ng mga Katutubo?
🤝 May tunay bang konsultasyon at malayang pahintulot (Free, Prior and Informed Consent) ng mga apektadong komunidad?

Ang tunay na pag-unlad ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa laki ng puhunan o dami ng gusali. Ang tunay na pag-unlad ay may paggalang sa tao, sa kalikasan, at sa karapatan ng mga susunod na henerasyon.

Hindi kami kontra sa progreso. Kontra kami sa pag-unlad na may kapalit na pagkasira ng kalikasan at pagkawala ng kabuhayan ng mga Katutubong Aeta.
Ang kalikasan ay hindi lamang yaman—ito ang buhay. Ang lupang ninuno ay hindi lamang lupa—ito ang kanilang pagkakakilanlan at kinabukasan.

PARA SA MGA KATUTUBO: PAXSILICA — PARA SA PAG-UNLAD BA O PARA SA PAGKASIRA NG KALIKASAN?

Hindi lahat ng tinatawag na "kaunlaran" ay tunay na pag-unlad.

Kapag ang kapalit ng proyekto ay ang pagkasira ng kagubatan, pagkasira ng kabundukan, maruming ilog, at pagkawala ng lupang ninuno, sino ang tunay na makikinabang?

Ang mga Katutubo ay hindi hadlang sa pag-unlad. Sila ang unang tagapangalaga ng ating kalikasan at likas na yaman.

Ang tanong ng sambayanan:
🌿 May tunay bang pahintulot at malayang pagsang-ayon ng mga Katutubo?
🌿 Napoprotektahan ba ang kalikasan at biodiversity?
🌿 O may iilang yayaman habang ang mga komunidad ang magdurusa sa huli?

Ang tunay na pag-unlad ay may malasakit sa tao, may paggalang sa karapatan ng mga Katutubo, at may pananagutan sa kalikasan.

Hindi dapat ipagpalit ang ating kagubatan at lupang ninuno sa panandaliang pakinabang.

🛖 Hindi namin tinitingnan ang katayuan sa buhay—tinitingnan namin ang pangangailangan ng bawat tao.

Sa puso ng ating mga kabundukan ay naninirahan ang ating mga Katutubong Kapatid (Indigenous Peoples)—mga tunay na tagapag-ingat ng kalikasan, kultura, at ating pamana. Panahon na upang sila naman ang ating alalayan.

Ang AVAS Foundation ay nakatuon sa:
🌱 Pagpapalakas ng kabuhayan sa pamamagitan ng makabagong agrikultura
🌳 Reforestation at pangangalaga sa kalikasan
