LATE POST | WORLD TEACHERS' DAY (PART 2)

The MSU Balo-i CHS SSG officers and entire student body celebrated World Teachers' Day last October 5, 2026 by preparing a short program.

From cultural presentations, modern dance, to emotional skits portraying the lives of teachers beyond the blackboard, intermission numbers from each grade level shown gratitude and appreciation to our teachers who became our guide, our torch, our mentors, our coaches both in extracurricular activities and in life, and our second parents.

Teachers were able to enjoy and let go of stress through three different games – Bae a Labi a Pamadian (spin-off of Maria went to town), Hug Me, and Banana Eating Contest and later on received simple gifts to remind them that they are seen and loved. Amid all challenges the school has had, this shows that the bond within the campus is like a family, stronger than any challenge that may come. We chose to cherish every moment with one another. We chose happiness.

Once again, HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY to all teachers out there.

Our gratitude to the Municipality of Balo-i and the Local Youth Development Office of Balo-i for organizing an avenue for young leaders to hone their skills in conflict resolution and leadership.

School is where we learn. But above all knowledge gained, faith and connection to the Almighty is what matters the most.

One of this batch of SSG officers' agenda is to promote the importance of faith. Thus, they cleaned, and repaired the sound system of the Masjid for the students to have a place where they can seek guidance from Allah SWT.

Even if the gates are closed, there is still a place to pray inside the campus especially during Dhuhr and Asr.

This is also to inform all students that the Masjid inside the campus is now open again for everyone.

INDUCTION CEREMONY | PART 2

The Dabakan roared as the Kulintang tickled the ears of the audience while the Pamaypay waved through the air with utmost grace.

The serenade of selected officers filled the gymnasium with their mesmerizing voices while others fill their tanks. Indeed, the new set of officers does not only offer service and leadership, but also talent.

Before the event ended, the SSG President, Sulutan Alizedney A. Makil, delivered a heartfelt message to everyone.
