Alhamdulillāh for a successful Nutri-Ed: A Nutrition and Education Literacy Outreach Program held last May 31, 2026 in Matungao, Lanao del Norte, organized by MIMSA in collaboration with OMPSS, MYAN, and the Matungao Muslim Youth Council (MMYC), which played a key role in the smooth implementation of the activity. A special highlight of the program was the participation of the Tahdeeriyyah students of Madrasah Sharqiy Al-Islamiy, who attended through the coordination of their Ustadhah, Norolain Pumbaya.

The program included Qur’an recitation, lectures on hygiene, nutrition, and Islamic values, as well as storytelling that strengthened the children’s sense of identity as Bangsamoro. MMYC and partner volunteers actively facilitated games, learning activities, and the distribution of hygiene kits, school supplies, and snacks to support and engage the children throughout the day. The program concluded with closing remarks and a shared meal, made possible through the efforts of all partners, volunteers, and the permission of Allāh ﷻ.
