Kabataang AgriHeroes Phase 2: Distribution of Vegetable Seedlings and Food Security Advocacy
On June 5, 2026, JCI Baliwag Buntal, together with the Kabataang AgriHeroes and community partners JRG Fuel Hub, Alltrade Marketing and Manufacturing, Takits, and OneGrain Marketing Corporation, successfully distributed vegetable seedlings to Baliwag North Central School, Bustos Elementary School, Matangtubig Elementary School, and Subic (Baliwag City) Integrated School.
The seedlings will support the schools' Gulayan sa Paaralan Program, helping provide fresh produce for their feeding programs while promoting nutrition, sustainability, and agricultural awareness among students.
The activity also featured collaborative discussions with school principals, teachers, and parents on food security and sustainable agriculture, emphasizing the importance of community participation in building resilient and food-secure communities.
As part of the Kabataang AgriHeroes immersion activities, youth participants engaged directly with school stakeholders, gaining valuable insights into agricultural advocacy, community service, and leadership.
Together, we continue to empower communities, inspire future agricultural leaders, and promote sustainable solutions for food security.
