𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The ASCOT – School of Engineering successfully held its Teachers’ Day Celebration on October 1, 2026, at the Old Engineering Building, ASCOT-Zabali Campus, Baler, Aurora.

The event was spearheaded by the Engineering Student Council (ESC), in collaboration with the three academic sub-organizations of the School of Engineering: the PICE ASCOT Student Chapter 156, the Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers-ASCOT Student Chapter, and the Integrated Institute of Electrical Engineers IIEE - ASCOT Student Chapter. The celebration was warmly attended by engineering students and our distinguished faculty members, who were the main highlights of the event.

The program was divided into three main parts:

Part I: Fun Games and Activities — Organized by the PICE - ASCOT Student Chapter 156, featuring interactive games designed to foster teamwork, collaboration, and camaraderie among the faculty members.

Part II: Faculty Impersonation Competition — Facilitated by the JPSME - ASCOT Student Chapter, where students showcased their creativity and lighthearted impressions of their respective instructors.

Part III: Gift Giving and Awarding Ceremony — Led by the IIEE - ASCOT Student Chapter, where special tokens, sashes, and certificates of appreciation were presented to honor the dedicated SoE instructors.

This annual celebration serves as a token of gratitude to our instructors and professors for their unwavering commitment, guidance, and dedication to shaping us into the future engineers of society.

The ASCOT - Engineering Student Council joins the world in today's World Teachers' Day Celebration, October 5, 2026. To all teachers out there, Happy Teachers' Day!

We extend our sincere appreciation to the ASCOT - Audit Student Council, who tallied and tabulated the evaluations from the students and faculty-panelists to ensure a fair and transparent competition.

1. Front and back views of your uniform concept.
2. The official department name: Aurora State College of Technology - School of Engineering.
3. Our powerhouse color identity (Maroon, Yellow, and White) paired with smart, practical fabric recommendations .

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘: 𝗘𝗦𝗖, 𝗜𝗜𝗘𝗘-𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗧 𝗦𝗖 𝗨𝗣𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

Illumination and Electrical Upgrading of the Old Engineering Building has been successfully executed by the Engineering Student Council (ESC) in partnership with the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers - ASCOT Student Chapter (IIEE-ASCOT SC).

Funded through ESC organizational funds, the student-led project addressed substandard lighting in the Old Engineering Building (OEB). Key upgrades include:

- Installation of high-efficiency 20W LED luminaires to eliminate eye strain during exam periods.
- Full electrical wiring enhancements, conduit routing, and circuit breaker installations.
- Removal of defective fluorescent fixtures to ensure campus safety.

Executed by student volunteers under the supervision of faculty engineers, the initiative aligns with SDGs 3, 4, 9, 11, and 17. The effort was spearheaded by IIEE-ASCOT SC President / ESC VP External Joshua Kielle Almarez and ESC President Arjay Alimodian, with guidance from Electrical Engineering program instructors and SOE Dean Dr. Mark Angelo Diaz.

The newly retrofitted OEB now provides a brighter, safer, and more conducive study environment for ASCOT engineering students.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗚𝗜𝗔𝗡!

The Engineering Student Council proudly congratulates 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering student, for being the champion in the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 held at the Senator Edgardo J. Angara Convention Center, Baler, Aurora on September 2, 2026.

This competition was organized by the Provincial Government of Aurora - Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), in collaboration with the Municipal DRRM Councils and the Schools Division of Aurora, Department of Education (DepEd), in observance of National Disaster Resilience Month.

Thank you for bringing honor to the School of Engineering and demonstrating the exceptional talent of our engineering students!

Buong-pusong nakiisa at nakilahok ang mga mag-aaral mula sa School of Engineering sa mga programa at timpalak na inihanda sa pangunguna ng ASCOT - Supreme College Student Council, katuwang ang ASCOT-Samahan ng mga Nagdadalubhasa sa Filipino, SWK, at iba pang mga organisasyon sa institusyon.

Ang mga gawaing ito ay malaking tulong sa mga mag-aaral ng ASCOT upang maging mahusay hindi lamang sa kani-kanilang larangan, kundi maging sa paglinang at pagpapayaman ng kanilang pagiging makabuluhang mamamayang Pilipino na may pagpapahalaga sa wikang pambansa. Nawa'y magsilbi itong paalala at inspirasyon sa mga susunod na propesyunal ng ating lipunan—na maging mamamayang handang maglingkod sa inang bayan at magpahalaga sa sariling atin.
