Providing for a family is always an honor.

Whether it be by working overtime, taking charge of the house chores, or even travelling abroad for work just for a better opportunity to take care of your family.

Father are extraordinary. As we all know, our fathers never let us see how much they sacrifice for us. They come home exhausted and put on a smile as they sit at the dinner table and listen to us yap about our day.

Fathers are diligent. Our fathers take every chance they can to provide for us. Lending us money for a snack on a roadtrip, taking our assignments to school when we forget to bring it, even just us have a bite of that sandwich he'd made for himself.

Fathers are a blessing. Not everyone has the privilege of calling someone "Dad". And even still, those people are wonderfully cared for. For they have a Father who has known them even before they were born, a Father who knows the exact number of hairs on their head. A Father who loves them unconditionally.

To those who have both their own dad and their Father, know that you are blessed. To those who rely on our Father, who have always seeked refuge in him, know that you are blessed.

And to our dear fathers; Happy father's day! Thank you for always being a role-model, a pillar to lean on, and a solid ground to stand on. May you continue to guide us, to provide for us, and to teach us the ways of the Lord.

Happy Father's Day!

No form of harrassment or harm should ever be tolerated. Everyone has their own struggles and challenges, instead of defending and tolerating them let us guide them towards understanding, accountability and growth supporting a harmonious and saftey community.

Life is hard enough as it is โ€” schoolwork, personal stress, financial situations, health conditions, and many more. All of these things seem to drain us, irritate us, and hurt us so quick!

Now imagine juggling that with being bullied.

Many of us have not experienced this, but that doesn't mean it's not happening to someone else. We might've contributed to that under the guise of a joke โ€” but to them, it is very real.

The hurt doesn't always show, most of the time it's hiddenโ€” so many victims are scared to speak up.

They're scared that they'd be more hurt, that the people who claim to have authority won't do much to help. And truthfully, no one can control the actions of others.

So, as an individual, we must learn to love. For God said, "Love your neighbour as yourself."

We must treat others how we want to be treated โ€” and we wouldn't want to be bullied, right? If we as an individual cannot control how others treat people, we must remember God's word and be an example for them.

Be the person who starts positivity, not the one who triggers negativity. Keep God in your heart as you speak and do to others.

Bullying awareness reminds us that our words and actions can deeply affect others. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and accepted in school and in the community. By speaking up and choosing kindness, we can help stop bullying and create a better environment for everyone. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

Most Tuesdays would have been another day for school work โ€” but not this one.

On February 10, 2026; we held a Wellness Day program!

Instead of waking up to the dread of essays and presentations, we made sure to sprinkle a tiny bit of excitement into school โ€” a day filled with games, relaxation and overall a day to keep our minds off of academic stress.

The day started with registration; signing in with names and signatures โ€” and stickers! Each student and teacher chose a sticker of their color of choice and stuck it on the mood board, creating a wonderful wall of colors.

And so the program began with all the usual things โ€” greetings, an opening prayer and opening remarks, and a heartfelt message to students by Sir Mark B. Condez.

Sir Mark taught us how to manage stress, find support, and how to live life a little without the pressure. We all needed that!

As his message ended, we were finally moving into the games of the morning.

Our NICS Peer Support Group members had set up 8 booths for a few different experiences as well as ongoing games led by our MCs of the day. The karaoke booth and the photobooth seemed to have the most engagement from our students and teachers!

Lunchtime was much anticipated โ€” our NICS Peer Support Group members took their sweet time to eat before carrying on with the afternoon fun.

The afternoon games had everyone up and engaged, especially the players of each game. Go team!

As engaged as we all were, we needed a little something to cool off โ€” and what better way than dancing together to some music?

Dancing seemed to be the highlight of the afternoon for everyone, a little something to send off this day with a bang.

And after all those wonderful things, we all gathered into a prayer bond to unite and thank our Lord for giving us the opportunity to relax and let loose.

Because no matter how hard we work, we'll always need some sort of rest, some kind of support. Even the strongest human on earth needs a rest day, guys! We all do!

So don't be afraid to let go of the pressure and hide from the expectations sometimes โ€” it'll do you some good to clear your mind and come back with a fresh perspective!
