We talk about growth in Bataan, but most of the time it comes down to how things are done day to day.

This isn’t about blame or being perfect.
Being part of an association doesn’t mean everything is done right. This applies to all of us.

We’ve been hearing a few things here and there—and while we appreciate a good story, we figured it’s best to share things as they are.

As ABES continues to grow, so do the conversations around it. Some accurate, some… still in development. What remains consistent, however, is what the association stands for: 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬.

Momentum continues as the Association of Bataan Event Suppliers convenes for its recent 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 last April 23, 2026 at Co-Space Cafè in Pilar, Bataan.

Centered on alignment and growth, the session focused on key directions for the Association—from the cascading of the 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜-𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (𝐏𝐏𝐏) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, to the ongoing development of the 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞, and a timely conversation on 𝐩𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬.

The gathering also marked a meaningful step forward as we welcomed new members into the Association, alongside the introduction of new sector leads who will help steer each discipline with clarity and purpose.

More than a meeting, it was a reaffirmation of what we stand for as a community—shared standards, collaborative progress, and a collective commitment to elevate the events industry in Bataan.

ABES x KDR Adventure Camp 💜💙🧡

The conversations continue as the Association of Bataan Event Suppliers Corp. (ABES) visits KDRAC for a focused discussion and ocular of the property—an emerging destination set to open its doors to the public.

With new functions and experiences soon to be launched, the session explored the venue’s potential for events, aligning capabilities, and identifying opportunities for seamless collaboration. KDRAC also expressed its openness to welcome Bataan-based event suppliers—strengthening a more integrated events ecosystem within the province.

Initial discussions on partnership and a potential Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing were also laid on the table, marking a promising step toward long-term collaboration between the venue and the local supplier community.

The Association of Bataan Event Suppliers (ABES) brings its Focus Group Discussions series to Vista Mall Bataan, opening opportunities for collaboration within a dynamic and evolving event space.

From exploring the mall’s potential as a venue for public and large-scale events to aligning supplier capabilities, the discussion centered on creating experiences that are not only seamless—but intentional, elevated, and community-driven.

More than a meeting, this marks a step toward activating shared spaces, empowering local suppliers, and strengthening Bataan’s position as a growing destination for events.

ABES continues its Focus Group Discussions series as we visited Pan Resorts and Events Place, opening doors to fresh ideas, stronger partnerships, and a shared commitment to elevate the event experience in Bataan.

From aligning venue capabilities to exploring seamless supplier collaboration, the session was filled with energy, insight, and a clear direction: to create events that are not just executed, but intentionally designed and professionally delivered.

This visit is more than a meeting—it’s a step toward a more connected, empowered, and future-ready events community.

Association of Bataan Event Suppliers x Provincial Government of Bataan 🧡💙💜

Photos from the recent courtesy visit of the Association of Bataan Event Suppliers Corp. to Provincial Governor, Hon. Joet Garcia, held last April 14, 2026 at The Bunker.

The meeting opened discussions on stronger collaboration between the local government and event suppliers—aimed at elevating industry standards, supporting local professionals, and positioning Bataan as a destination for well-curated events.

This engagement was made possible through the support of the Provincial Tourism Office, Behold Bataan, led by Dr. Danica Lo**ta Tigas-Rodriguez, whose continued partnership helps create opportunities for the local events industry.

Together, we move forward as one in strengthening the events community of Bataan.

The Association of Bataan Event Suppliers Corp. (ABES) formally conducted a courtesy visit on April 14 to the office of Governor Joet Garcia—a meaningful step forward for every event supplier in Bataan.

More than a meeting, it was a representation of what our industry is becoming: organized, recognized, and ready to take its place in driving the province forward. ABES presented its direction, initiatives, and commitment to elevating standards—ensuring that local suppliers are not only present in major events, but are trusted partners in shaping them.

This engagement opened real opportunities—for collaboration, inclusion in large-scale provincial events, and stronger support for Bataan-based creatives and entrepreneurs. It is a reminder that our work matters, that our industry has value, and that there is space for us to grow together.

As we continue building this momentum, we carry one shared vision: to strengthen our community, uplift one another, and position Bataan as a destination for purposeful, world-class events.
