Leading with Pride, Serving with Honor ☘️🇵🇭
The Bataan National High School SHS Girl Scouts were tasked with leading the flag-raising ceremony this morning at 7:30 AM. We were reminded of our Promise: "To serve God and our country, to help other people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law."

Being a Girl Scout is more than just wearing the uniform. There's something amazing about standing in front of our school community and watching our national flag rise against the morning sky. It's about embracing the Promise and Law in everything we do—being prepared, serving others, and leading by example. Today, we didn't just raise a flag, we lifted the spirit of discipline and sisterhood that defines who we are. 💚

Today marks the day the Philippines gained freedom from colonizers. On June 12, 1898, our flag was raised and our national anthem was played for the very first time. It was the result of many years of struggle, sacrifice, and bravery from our heroes. 🇵🇭

As Girl Scouts, we remember their courage not just today but every day, we are taught to be brave, kind, and ready to serve our nation.🍀

Independence Day is not just a holiday, it is a reminder that freedom comes with responsibility. This Independence Day, let us be grateful for our country and do our share in making the Philippines even better. Fly the flag high. Sing the anthem with pride. And always remember: freedom is precious because it was hard-earned. Let us honor the past, enjoy the present, and build a brighter future for the Philippines. Happy Independence Day, fellow Filipinos and Girl Scouts! Mabuhay ang kalayaan! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! 📣
