The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) โ Bataan Chapter marked another meaningful milestone through its Turnover and Induction Ceremony, held on August 22, 2026, at PAN Resort and Hotel, Abucay, Bataan.
The occasion brought together distinguished leaders, guests, advisers, and members of the accountancy profession from the PICPA National and Regional Councils, making the celebration a gathering of leadership, fellowship, and service.
We were deeply honored by the presence of Dr. Estelita Aguirre, First and Only Female President of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA); Former Deputy Commissioner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR); and Former Executive Director of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), together with Mr. Dionisio Villeta, PICPA National President; Mr. Ferdie San Diego, PICPA Central Luzon Senior Regional Director; and Mr. Manuel Mapoy, PICPA Central Luzon Junior Regional Director. Their presence and insightful messages added meaning and inspiration to an already significant occasion.
The ceremony also witnessed the formal turnover of leadership from outgoing Federation President Ms. Alina Claine Rubiano to incoming Federation President Ms. Melanie Siasat, a transition that symbolizes not an ending, but the continuation of a shared vision and commitment to serve the profession. As new leadership takes its place, the federation moves forward with renewed energy, purpose, and a collective determination to make a meaningful difference.
Adding another layer of significance to the celebration was the induction of the newly passed Bataan CPAs. Their presence represented the beginning of a new chapter, not only in their professional lives, but also in the continuing story of the accountancy profession in Bataan. They now join a community founded on integrity, competence, excellence, and service.
To our distinguished guests from the PICPA National and Regional Councils, chapter advisers, fellow CPAs, leaders, and members, thank you for being part of this momentous occasion and for continuing to support the growth and development of our profession.
As leadership is entrusted from one generation to another, may we continue to carry forward the values that unite us, embrace opportunities to serve, and remain committed to the greater purpose of our profession.
A new leadership. A new generation of CPAs. A shared commitment to ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. ๐ช๐ป
Together, let us ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ our members, inspire the next generation, and advance the accountancy profession with purpose and pride. ๐๐๐ค
