Empowered Youth - Balamban marked a meaningful milestone as it conducted its first-ever Basic Leadership Training in partnership with a school, held on March 21–22, 2026, at Ginatilan National High School, together with the youth of Ginatilan. 🤝

Batch 9 stepped into a new space of learning and leadership—embracing challenges, building connections, and growing together in purpose. 🌱 This training reflects a shared commitment between EYB and the school to empower young leaders where they are, and to nurture a generation ready to serve and lead their communities. 🔥

Our sincere appreciation to Ginatilan National High School and the youth of Ginatilan for opening this new chapter with us. The 209th Batch of the YLP Family, EYB Batch 9 - Brgy. Kahiusa! 💪

On this day last year, November 24, 2024, the first batch of Empowered Youth of Balamban – EYB graduated their Basic Leadership Training and solidified the formation of this YLP-CFLS Chapter.

Since then, 8 Batches graduated and several community service activities under EYB’s belt. Kudos to the youth who have since then answered the call to leadership and never let the their passion to serve waver.

As the salt and light of the earth, we will continue to empower the youth, serve the people, and change our community for our generation and for generations to come. Let us continue to keep the flame burning bright!

Last October 4, 2025, the Empowered Youth of Balamban and students from Balamban Extensive Skills and Technology Inc. successfully conducted a Relief Operation across the northern part of Cebu following the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that hit the province last September 30. 🌊❤️

This meaningful mission was led by Ate Charlyn Tayros and Kuya John Paul Estela, spreading compassion and hope to every community we reached. 🙌

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors who provided the goods sent to North Cebu — your support made this mission possible. 💖
