The Balamban Municipal Nutrition Council, together with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and the Municipal Agriculture Office of Balamban, conducted the Initial Assessment for the Gulayan Para sa Himsog na Kabataan Challenge in various Child Development Centers (CDCs) on August 11–12, 2026. The activity promotes proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, gardening, and environmental awareness among young children through the development and nurturing of vegetable gardens.

We commend our Child Development Workers, parents, and community partners for their dedication and active participation in this meaningful initiative. Together, we continue to cultivate healthy habits, nurture greener communities, and build a healthier future for the children of Balamban.
