Meet the EDSA Election 2022 Candidates!!

Greetings! I have been called by my courage to step on this journey in my life. Growing without sufficient resources is not easy. As I decided to be an independent individual, I learned to stand in my own. Being independent does not mean, you don't need someone to help you. But, an individual that can do extraordinary things in creative ways. Education takes place when you desired to learn from something.

Today, I stand and speak up to venture beautiful experiences in Education Students' Association (EDSA) to make simple into big difference. I am Marko Santiago, an aspirant Treasurer of EDSA-NORSU Bais Campus 2. Crisis and poverty needs a hero, a good leader.

My platforms and advocacies will as follows;

1. Promoting quality of education where education students can develop their demo-teaching. Standing as a good reflection to the education students as empowered future educators.
2. Engaging the students of College of Teacher Education to different academic activities to enhance their skills and talents.
3. Stand for truth as teaching profession cultivates learner's mind and personality.
4. As aspirant treasurer, I would give the same level of view of every students which means that, whether he/she is not in-position, that students can express himself/herself with diligence and can reason out.

Good day to all teacher education students of Negros Oriental State University, Bais Campus 2. The deadline for submitting an application for a certificate of candidacy is today. If you have what it takes to become a student leader of the education students' association, just fill out the form provided. You can submit it either online by directly messaging the committee or by submitting it at the CARE Office on NORSU Campus 2 to Mr. Vincent Bahandi. Be the change that our world needs.

Greetings to all Teacher Education students at Negros Oriental State University, Bais Campus 2. We are calling all aspirant students who want to be officers of the EDSA (Education Students' Association) to file their certificates of candidacy (COC) from November 16–18, 2022. Listed below are the following positions:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Auditor
• Two Public Information Officers
• Two Sergeants at Arms

In running for a position as officer in the Education Students' Association (EDSA), every candidate must:

• A bonafide student of Negros Oriental State University - Bais Campus 2, College of Teacher Education. (CTEd) (officially enrolled during the semester of the election);
• be in good academic standing in the College;
• not been convicted of any disciplinary action at the University
• and have one or more semesters left to enroll in college

Note: Candidates may form their party for the campaign period.

Attached below is the link that contains the file for the certificate of candidacy. You can fill it out and submit it to the chairman or any of the members of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for their required signature.
