๐ข SBAA ANNOUNCEMENT | IMPORTANT ENROLLMENT UPDATE
In light of the challenges experienced with the University Student Portal during the current enrollment period, ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐๐ฌ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ณ, ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐๐๐-๐ง๐ข-๐๐๐๐.
To provide a more organized, efficient, and fair enrollment process:

Students will ๐ก๐ข ๐๐ข๐ก๐๐๐ฅ ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐๐ป ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐. Beginning 2nd Semester, AY 2026โ2027, students will be assigned to ๐ฏ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ based on their program and year level.
This decision was made after carefully evaluating the concerns encountered during previous enrollment periods. While the current enrollment process is conducted online through the Student Portal, many students seek assistance from the Dean's Office.
Please be reminded that the Dean's Office ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐. When students request assistance, the Office enrolls them ๐ผ๐ป๐น๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ป ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ at the time of processing. Schedules are assigned based on availability and not on student preference.
Despite receiving assistance, there have been instances where students later expressed dissatisfaction with the schedules they were enrolled in. To ensure fairness, consistency, and equal treatment for all students, the School will implement ๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐ผ-๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐๐ฌ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ณ.

The following students are exempted from the block sectioning policy:
- Marshalls
- Student Assistants
- Athletes
- Other qualified UB Scholars
- Working Students (with Certificate of Employment w/ work schedule)
Their class schedules will continue to be arranged based on their ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐๐๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐, ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ/๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ฒ๐, making individualized scheduling necessary.

The enrollment schedule for each year level will be posted ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐. Students are advised to follow their designated enrollment schedule once it is announced.
We understand that this change may require some adjustment, but it has been made to create a more efficient, organized, and equitable enrollment process for all SBAA students while minimizing scheduling concerns.
