BAGUIO PINES CITY LIONS CLUB JOINS HANDS FOR WATERSHED PROTECTION
The Baguio Pines City Lions Club proudly joins 17 other Lions Clubs in renewing our commitment to environmental protection through the Adopt-a-Watershed Program of the Baguio Water District (BWD).
On September 21, 2026, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed at the BWD Engr. Felino D. Lagman Hall, bringing together the BWD and 18 Lions Clubs in a shared mission to protect and rehabilitate Baguio City’s remaining forest and watershed areas.
Representing the Baguio Pines City Lions Club was Club President Jan Victor Victoria, together with fellow Lions leaders and representatives, under the leadership of District Governor Ralph Eduardo A. Yambao.
Through this partnership, our club commits to supporting meaningful environmental initiatives such as tree planting, tree nurturing, watershed conservation, and other activities that help protect our precious natural resources.
The MOA, which will remain in effect for three years, provides a continuing framework for cooperation between BWD and the participating Lions Clubs.
As Lions, we believe that service goes beyond helping people—it also means protecting the environment that sustains our communities.
For our forests.
For our water.
For our future.
We Serve.
The Baguio Pines City Lions Club is honored to be part of this collective effort toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Baguio City.
Together, we can make a difference—one tree, one watershed, and one act of service at a time. 🦁🌳💧
