Project Og-Ogfo, in collaboration with Kasiyana and all School Assemblies, is once again launching a meaningful donation drive—this time dedicated to supporting our jeepney drivers who continue to bear the brunt of the ongoing oil price hike crisis.

As fuel prices surge, daily wage transport workers are pushed deeper into financial hardship. Policies such as oil deregulation, along with VAT and excise taxes on fuel, continue to intensify this burden, while calls to address these systemic issues remain largely unheard. Recent measures, such as fare discounts, further strain drivers whose earnings are already unstable.

In this light, we appeal for your open hearts and solidarity. Any amount can go a long way in helping sustain the livelihoods of our jeepney drivers during this crisis.

| CALL FOR DONATIONS

In times of worsening crisis, compassion, solidarity, and collective action become more important than ever. Across Baguio–Benguet, people have come together to support one another through simple yet meaningful efforts such as community pantries, free meals for drivers, and carpool services, demonstrating the enduring spirit of bayanihan!

In this light, Kasiyana–Tulong Kabataan, alongside its partner organizations, is launching the Call for Donations. The proceeds will help sustain local initiatives that provide direct assistance to jeepney drivers and others in need, extending support wherever it is most needed.

Let us rejoice, for the Lord has resurrected. This day is filled with joy and hope as we celebrate the coming of Christ. The spirit of celebration continues from the Easter Vigil to this glorious Easter Sunday.

Today, we are called to remain faithful believers of God. Too often, we are led by our emotions rather than our faith, and we find ourselves doubting Him without realizing that He always has a plan for us and walks with us throughout our lives. Let us live by the example of Christ—𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩, 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝.

As Holy Week comes to an end, may we carry with us the lessons and teachings of the Lord. May our faith be strengthened and draw us closer to God. Let our reflections and personal prayers become our commitment and testimony to faithfully following Him.
