UP Kalipunan ng Mag-aaral sa Kasaysayan, College of Social Sciences, University of the Philippines Baguio, Baguio City (2026)

Ang Malay o Kamalayan ay isang katangian ng kaisipan. Nangangahulugan ito ng pagiging gising, alisto, at tumutugon sa kapaligirang kinapapalooban. Kami, mga kasapi sa UP KAMALAYAN, ay naniniwala sa kahalagahan ng kasaysayan bilang gabay sa pagbabago ng lipunan. Kami ay may layuning ipakilala at palaguin ang kaalaman sa kasaysayan bilang pagsalamin sa diwa ng nasyonalismo at sa kakayahan ng bawat isa upang bigyang kritiko ang takbo ng lipunan.

| 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗡: Buong-tatag na tumayo sa militanteng pagkakaisa ang CSS Committee at CSS BOAO sa ginanap na ika-54 na Paggunita sa Batas Militar. Sa pamamagitan ng isang kilos-protesta, nagmartsa ang mobilisasyon mula sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Baguio (UPB), dumaan sa Governor Pack Road at Session Road, patungong Malcolm Square kahapon, Setyembre 21.

Bilang mga mag-aaral ng Kolehiyo ng Agham Panlipunan, higit kailanman ay napakahalagang huwag kailanman kalimutan ang kasaysayan at matatag na makipagkaisa sa mamamayan, hindi lamang sa pag-alala sa mga krimen at kaharasan ng nakaraan, kundi sa aktibong paglaban sa patuloy na panggigipit at korapsyon sa ilalim ng rehimeng Marcos-Duterte.

We are pleased to invite everyone to Liwliwa: Cultural Concert for a Cause 🙏🏻
(Open to UPB and Non-UPB community)

This event aims to raise funds for the procurement of cultural attire, musical instruments, cultural materials, and other resources essential to sustaining cultural practice and expression within the University. At present, many of these resources remain limited or incomplete, making it difficult for students, especially Indigenous Peoples (IPs), to fully engage in and preserve their cultural traditions. In many instances, students are left to search for and provide these materials on their own.

Moreover, the event aims to showcase cultural music, traditional dances, and cultural theater performances that reflect the rich cultures and lived experiences of Indigenous Peoples. It also seeks to provide a platform for Indigenous students, cultural workers, artists, and advocates, both within and outside the University, to share their art, histories, and aspirations with the wider UP Baguio community.

Tickets may be availed through any officer of the UP Baguio University Student Council and PAGTA members. You may also scan the QR code on the poster or check the comments section for the ticket link. Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-can basis. Any amount is deeply appreciated and will directly support the cause and initiatives of the event.
