It was a day of full of worship, winning souls, sharing gospel and knowledge, promoting health, and inspiring hope in
the community through life testimonies.

The program was designed to share the message of hope and spiritual encouragement within Brgy. Saclit, fostering a deeper understanding of faith, promoting unity, and offering practical support to those in need, thereby reflecting the love and compassion of our Creator.

The event featured a variety of
meaningful services and fun activities:

💊Distribution of free vitamins to all ages

The program was spearheaded by the
𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒕 led by Hon. Joylyne Gongran, in strong collaboration with 𝑪𝑩𝑪 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎, led by Mrs.Delia Tacudog and to 𝑺𝒀𝑶-𝑩𝒂𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒐, led by Ms. Irish Wanawan.

Through this initiative, SK Saclit reaffirms its mission to create meaningful impact in the lives of young people, elders and families in need -- Where God guides, He provides--proving that when youth lead with compassion, hope and victory follows.

𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to have participated in a meaningful and inspiring leadership workshop held at SPDU PMA, that equipped us with valuable skills and renewed purpose. Throughout the session, we focused on deepening our understanding of what it means to lead with 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 , enhancing our 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 abilities, and building the 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 ( the spirit of being "𝑖𝑠𝑎𝑐𝑙𝑖𝑡") to take initiative with empathy and purpose.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our guest speaker, Ms. Mariel, to our handsome and supportive advisers, Sir Salvador and Sir Jerome whose insights, experiences, and wisdom greatly enriched the workshop and left a lasting impact on all of us.

This experience reminded us that leadership is not just about position, but about 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 — and we are now more motivated than ever to lead with heart and purpose.

From lecture halls to the heart of civic engagement, participants stepped into the afternoon with sharpened skills and a renewed sense of purpose. Divided into five dynamic groups, their task was clear: to turn the morning’s insights into meaningful, action-driven dialogue. This wasn’t just about practicing conversation; it was about owning their voice and creating impact through words. Setting the stage, SPEAK U.P. Project Head, Ms. Rica Be**no, presented the mechanics as the eager youths leaned in, ready to transform theory into expression and learning into leadership.

A government agency mentored each group: 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐍𝐘𝐂), 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 - 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐑𝐎-𝐂𝐀𝐑), 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄), 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐃𝐓𝐈), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑). With guidance from these agencies, participants were briefed on current policies and pressing challenges. Then came the twist: the youth had to defend the agencies by presenting the issues they had identified from a young person’s lens and propose practical solutions.

Picture it: young people standing not just in front of a crowd, but owning the floor. They tackled topics from unemployment to media visibility, environmental preservation to law enforcement activities. Questions flew from the audience, and answers were fired back, not from officials, but from the youth themselves. It was role-reversal at its finest, and civic engagement at its most genuine form.

By day's end, one thing was clear: these weren’t just participants, they were rising youth leaders. And to all those who made this possible, from the mentors, partner agencies, and uniformed supporters to every courageous youth who dared to take the mic, Youth For Peace Baguio Chapter thank you. You've proven that when we speak up, we do more than unleash potential.
