An inclusive, passionate and community-driven group to inspire and celebrate the art of urban sketching, fostering a sense of belonging among artists of all skill levels. 📧[email protected] About Urban Sketchers Baguio City:
Formerly known as Bag-iw Sketchers, Urban Sketchers Baguio City is an ever-growing community of artists, hobbyists, art enthusiasts and storytellers who capture life in

and around the city through sketches. Our community welcomes anyone who wishes to express, document, or simply appreciate the beauty of everyday life through art. We sketch scenes that reflect our shared experiences—moments in the market, mountain views, bustling streets, quiet corners, and the people that make Baguio what it is. Through our sketches, we tell stories, build connections, and make history—one line, one color, one moment at a time. We meet regularly for sketch walks around Baguio City and nearby areas, and we also share our works and reflections online. Whether you draw, paint, or doodle, there’s always space for you in our circle. This is our manifesto and a guideline on what to post here:

Urban Sketchers Manifesto
1. We draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation.
2. Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings, the places we live and where we travel.
3. We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
5. We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
6. We support each other and draw together.
7. We share our drawings online.
8. We show the world, one drawing at a time. For collaboration, please email us at [email protected]. You may also reach us out on our page: Urban Sketchers Baguio and Instagram

New look, same creative spirit! 🌲✨

In celebration of Cordillera Day, let’s gather through creativity, community, and storytelling as we head to the newly renovated Sunshine Park for our next sketchwalk.

Long known as a quiet refuge for students, artists, and locals seeking a pause from the city bustle, Sunshine Park has long been part of Baguio’s creative rhythm—a place where people gather, practice performances, sketch, sit, and simply slow down. As part of the Burnham Park area, it continues to evolve while keeping its spirit as a shared public space alive. Its recent rehabilitation introduced upgraded green spaces and new pathways while preserving its role as a place for community and creativity.

This 100% free community gathering celebrates not only drawing together, but also the stories, culture, and spaces that shape our city and Cordillera identity.

Come join us as we capture this revitalized city landmark on paper!

One sketch at a time, we're documenting Baguio through our own eyes. ✏️🌲
Last June 19, our Urban Sketchers Baguio community gathered at Igorot Garden—a space that quietly honors the rich heritage of the Cordillera.
Nestled in the heart of the city, the garden pays tribute to the Igorot peoples and serves as a reminder of the culture, identity, and history that continue to shape Baguio today.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, sketched alongside fellow artists, shared conversations, and added your own perspective to the day. Whether through ink, watercolor, pencil, or the memories we created together, every gathering becomes a collective story of our city.

Here's to continuing to document Baguio, celebrate its heritage, and connect through sketching.
Until the next AgSketch Tayu! 🎨📖

May 1 felt extra special.

We marked our 2nd anniversary of sketching together as an official group—two years of showing up, drawing side by side, and building this creative community one sketch at a time.

It also happened to be the start of International Urban Sketchers Week (May 1–7), with the first prompt: GREEN. 💚
And in a city like Baguio, that choice felt natural.

We gathered at Bayan Park—freshly renovated, surrounded by trees, and finally getting the glow up it deserves. The kind of space that invites you to slow down, look closer, and sketch what’s right in front of you.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this one.
Familiar faces, new sketchers, shared pages, shared time.

Here’s to more sketchwalks, more stories, and more moments like this.

Let’s keep sketching—
showing the world, one sketch at a time. ✍️🌲
