TMPC took another step in its advocacy of uplifting the lives of its members through livelihood development with the successful conduct of a Barista Workshop on September 26, 2026. The training was held in partnership with the Pampanga Central Training & Assessment Center in Pulung Cacutud, Angeles City, Pampanga, and was attended by 15 participants.

The workshop is part of TMPC's livelihood training program, which aims to give members practical, income-generating skills that can help them start small businesses and earn additional income for their families. With the growing demand for specialty coffee and café-style beverages, the barista workshop offered participants a timely and marketable skill.

A Hands-On Learning Experience
Guided by Ms. Sheila Delos Santos, an experienced trainer from the Pampanga Central Training & Assessment Center, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of coffee and the art of beverage preparation. The day combined short discussions with extensive hands-on practice, allowing each participant to work directly with equipment and ingredients.

Building Opportunities for Members
Beyond technical skills, the workshop encouraged confidence, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset among the participants.

TMPC extends its sincere gratitude to Ms. Jennifer Magtoto and the rest of the team from Pampanga Central Training & Assessment Center for its partnership and Ms. Sheila Delos Santos for generously sharing her expertise.

TMPC also thanks all participants for their active involvement and commitment throughout the training:

Students of Gadang Integrated School in Kapangan, Benguet, received a boost for the school year as TMPC turned over a donation of school supplies last September 17, 2026. This donation was initiated by Director Jojo Yllana.

Chris Gapuz, TMPC staff, visited the school to hand over the following school supplies intended for the students.
30 boxes pencil
300 pcs ballpen (black and blue)
150 pcs crayon 16's
150 pcs glue 40gms
150 pcs scissors
20 pcs blackboard eraser
33 boxes chalk
10 reams bond Paper
100 pcs brown envelope short

Total cost of this donation: Php 30,224.

The donation was received by Ms. Mena M. Dagdagen (Officer-in-charge) together with teachers and student representatives (in photo from left to right: Denie Sucdad, Joiseta Tamolang, Leah Sab-it, Glory Sapigao, Angelita Selmo, Mena Dagdagen, Hazel Danga, Geraldine Bangsiel, Charlene Matis, Arniel Ramos Pes-oyen, Ryan Jay Salamat)

For a school in a remote upland community like Gadang Integrated School, where the journey to town can be long and resources limited, basic supplies can make a real difference in a child's day-to-day learning. The donation is meant to ease the burden on parents and help students focus on their studies.

The activity reflects the cooperative principle of concern for community. Beyond serving its members, TMPC believes in contributing to the wellbeing of the communities where it operates, and education is among the most lasting investments it can support.
