36 Years of Remembrance. 36 Years of Resilience.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage shown in the wake of the July 16, 1990 Luzon Earthquake. As one of the hardest-hit cities, Baguio rose from tragedy through faith, unity, and the unwavering spirit of its people.

The Philippine Pharmacists Association – Baguio-Benguet Chapter joins the entire community in honoring the memories of those we lost and expressing our deepest gratitude to the rescuers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and countless individuals who helped rebuild lives and restore hope.

As we remember the past, let us also prepare for the future. Disaster preparedness is a shared responsibility. May this anniversary inspire each of us to remain vigilant, equipped, and ready to protect our families and communities in times of emergency.

Together, let us continue to pray for God's protection from natural calamities and work toward building a safer, more resilient Philippines.
