In a continued effort to support students amid rising transportation costs, the Libreng Sakay program bound for Baguio City was successfully carried out through the leadership and initiative of our Governor Dakila Carlo E. Cua, Congresswoman Midy N. Cua, and Sir Junie E. Cua. Despite the steady increase in fuel prices, the program remains a testament to their unwavering commitment to public service, particularly in prioritizing the welfare of students who continue to pursue their education away from home.
The initiative not only provided free and accessible transportation but also addressed a common challenge faced by many studentsโsecuring a ride back to Baguio City. With limited resources and increasing travel expenses, the Libreng Sakay program eased the burden of booking transportation, ensuring a safe, organized, and reliable journey for its beneficiaries.
More than a transportation service, the program stands as a reflection of responsive governance and genuine concern for the youth. It highlights how proactive leadership can translate into tangible support systems that directly benefit communities, especially in times of economic strain. Through this effort, students are given not only convenience but also peace of mind, allowing them to focus on their academic responsibilities.
As the program continues to reach more students, it serves as an example of how leadership, compassion, and action can come together to create meaningful impact in the lives of many.
