𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐠 𝐭𝐢 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞!

In line with the goal of increasing participation among North Luzon law students, the ALSP-NLRB held a preliminary meeting with the law student governments in their jurisdiction.

The meeting began with a rundown of proposed activities, which sought to include every law student in North Luzon. In addressing the divide in the region, the Board discussed membership with the LSGs, highlighting the privileges and responsibilities of being a member in good standing. The Board also assured that every law student's voice will be heard, which was manifested in their offer of ex-officio and appointive positions to law students, should their respective schools become a member.

The ALSP-NLRB looks forward to working with the LSGs to deliver a meaningful experience to every law student in North Luzon.

🌊⚖️ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐢 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐢 (𝐃𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐀) proudly commends 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒐 for representing the organization at the 2026 National Training Programme of the Philippine International Law of the Sea Academy (PHILSEA), held on 27 June 2026 at the De La Salle University (DLSU) Rufino Campus in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Together with distinguished law students, legal educators, scholars, practitioners, law enforcement officers, and government officials from across the Philippines, Romer participated in an intensive training program that explored the fundamental principles and contemporary issues of the Law of the Sea. The program strengthened participants' understanding of international maritime law and its significance to the Philippines and the broader global community.

Romer currently serves as the Vice President for Logistics of DLUSA. His participation in this prestigious national training program reflects the organization's commitment to academic excellence and the continuous pursuit of legal knowledge.

On July 11, 2026, the Discipuli Legis Universitatis Sancti Aloysii (DLUSA) officially welcomed its newly elected officers for Academic Year 2026–2027 through the DLUSA Oath-Taking Ceremony.

The ceremony was graced by Dean Yasmine Tadeo and Atty. Elijah Cosalan reminded the incoming officers to carry forward the legacy of leadership established by the previous administration and to lead with integrity and service.

In her Acceptance of Office, President Katrina Murla acknowledged the big shoes left by the outgoing administration and shared her commitment to continue the work they started.

In celebration of leadership, learning, and excellence, the 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐢 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐢 (𝐃𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐀) of 𝐒𝐋𝐔 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐰 proudly participated in the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐄𝐁-𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐏 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, held last June 26–27, 2026, at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel in Quezon City, Metro Manila, bringing together aspiring legal professionals from law schools across the country under the inspiring theme, "𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔."

DLUSA officers, 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐱 𝐃𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐳𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚, 𝐊𝐞𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐠, and 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 represented the SLU School of Law, carrying the Louisian spirit throughout the convention. Their participation reflects the SLU School of Law's commitment to nurturing competent, principled, and service-oriented future lawyers who are prepared to meet the evolving demands of the legal profession.

A highlight of this momentous convention was the election of Rheginaex De Guzman as Governor of the ALSP North Luzon Regional Board, as well as the election of Remy Mae Consolacion as Auditor of the ALSP North Luzon Regional Board.

𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬, former Dean of the SLU School of Law and now the Chairperson of the Legal Education Board (LEB), delivered the keynote address during the event. He encouraged every law student to dream boldly, pursue excellence relentlessly, and embrace the responsibility of becoming advocates who inspire positive change in society.

As the SLU School of Law continues to cultivate future legal professionals grounded in competence, integrity, and compassion, this national gathering stands as another milestone in empowering Louisians to reach greater heights in legal education and public service.

On June 30th, 2026 the Class of 2026 of Saint Louis University School of Law officially stepped in beyond the halls that shaped their minds, strengthened their convictions, and prepared them for the path ahead.

The journey toward this milestone was built on countless hours of study, moments of uncertainty, and the courage to continue despite every challenge. Through every obstacle, they carried with them the faith that turned fear into strength and uncertainty into purpose.

As they close this chapter and begin the next stage of their journey, may they remain guided by compassion, integrity, and the unwavering pursuit of justice. May they continue to stand with courage, knowing that faith can quiet even the greatest fears along the way.
