🌧️ Drawing Near: Following Beyond Familiarity | Youth Fellowship • August 16, 2026

Grateful for another opportunity to gather as youth ambassadors of Christ! 🤍 Despite the rainy season, we chose to come together—to worship, fellowship, and grow in faith with our brethren.

We were reminded through God’s Word that drawing near to Christ means choosing to follow Him beyond what is familiar. Even when the journey feels difficult, uncomfortable, or unfamiliar, may we continue to choose Christ, follow His ways, and allow Him to shape us to become more like Him.

May we never be too comfortable to take the next step closer to Jesus. Draw near. Follow faithfully. Become more like Christ. ✨

It’s easy to stay where we already know what to expect.

But following Jesus can take us somewhere unfamiliar away from routines, comfort, and the version of faith that asks very little from us.

That was the challenge from the message last Sunday’s Youth fellowship.
