Prayer Intentions for June 13, 2026
YANIG Camping Retreat Morning Prayer
Theme: Haste Makes Waste
Luke 14:28–30
1. Pray for every young adult as they seek God’s direction for their career.
Pray that God will give them wisdom, clarity, patience, and courage as they make decisions about their studies, work, business, ministry, and future calling.
May they not be pressured by comparison, fear, or the desire to succeed quickly, but learn to pause, plan, and proceed according to God’s will.
Pray that they will use their gifts, skills, and opportunities not only for personal success, but for the glory of God and the service of others.
Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
2. Pray for young adults to become faithful stewards of their finances.
Pray that God will teach them how to handle money with discipline, wisdom, honesty, and contentment.
May they learn to save, give, budget, avoid unnecessary debt, and make financial decisions that honor God.
Pray that they will not waste the blessings God has entrusted to them, but use their resources responsibly and generously.
May they remember that God is the true source of every provision and opportunity.
Deuteronomy 8:18 “But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”
3. Pray for God-centered romantic love and relationships.
Pray that every young adult will seek God’s will before entering or pursuing romantic relationships.
May they not rush because of emotions, loneliness, pressure, or fear of being left behind.
Pray for purity, patience, respect, emotional maturity, and wisdom in choosing and building relationships.
May their future love stories be founded on Christ, guided by prayer, and protected from compromise, confusion, and wrong motives.
1 Corinthians 13:4 “Love is patient, love is kind.”
4. Pray for every young adult to apply what they will learn during the retreat.
Pray that this retreat will not only be a time of fellowship, fun, and inspiration, but a life-changing moment of reflection and commitment.
May every lesson about career, finances, and romantic love lead to transformed choices, renewed minds, and obedient hearts.
Pray that God will help them count the cost, build their lives wisely, and avoid wasteful decisions caused by haste.
May they leave the camp more rooted in faith, united in purpose, and ready to live for Christ.
James 1:22 “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
