A REMINDER TO EVERYONE ENJOYING BURNHAM LAKE:

ALWAYS WEAR YOUR LIFE VEST WHEN RIDING A BOAT. Please comply with the Life Vest Ordinance.

A recent TikTok video shows a man dancing on a boat at Burnham Lake without a life vest, possibly removing it just to shoot the video. But even quick moments like this can be risky.

The ordinance exists for a reason: YOUR SAFETY! So wear it at all times while on the water. -J.G.H.

The journey to the crown begins now! We are officially opening the search for Mr. and Ms. Tuba 2025. This is your chance to shine, inspire, and represent your barangay.

Who says you can’t be the next face of Tuba? Be confident. Don’t be afraid to express yourself and let your personality shine. This is your chance to stand out and inspire others.

Show us what makes you the next face of Tuba! Listed below are the qualifications and requirements for aspiring candidates.

Qualifications:
1. Must be a resident of Tuba, with at least 50% blood of Benguet or born/raised in the Municipality of Tuba.
2. Must be 20 to 26 years old at the time of the coronation night.
3. Must be single and of good moral character.
4. Can speak and/or understand at least one of the major dialects in the municipality of Tuba (Ibaloi, Kankana-ey, or Kalanguya).

Requirements:
1. Entry form (to be accomplished upon submission of entry);
2. Endorsement from respective Punong Barangay;
3. One photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate; and
4. One 3R half body picture, colored 2x2 I.D picture with white background.

The submission of entries will be until August 1, 2025. Please proceed to the Tuba Tourism Office to submit your requirements.
