RCBH Extends Assistance to Guisad Surong Landslide Victims

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) extended financial assistance to the victims of the devastating landslide in Guisad Surong, Baguio City, which claimed the lives of 12 individuals. The donation was turned over to the City Mayor to support the affected families and communities during this difficult time.

The initiative reflects RCBH’s commitment to Service Above Self, offering support and compassion to families facing loss and hardship. Through this gesture, the club joins the community in remembering those who lost their lives and helping provide assistance to those affected by the tragedy.

RCBH Holds 3rd General Membership Meeting

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) held its 3rd General Membership Meeting (GMM), led by President Glorito “T***s” Marasigan, bringing together Rotarians and guests for an evening of fellowship, collaboration, and discussions on the club’s continuing service initiatives. The gathering provided an opportunity for members to strengthen camaraderie and reaffirm their commitment to Rotary’s spirit of Service Above Self.

A special highlight of the meeting was the presence of RCBH’s Sister Club, the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU). Both clubs discussed a proposed joint project, strengthening their partnership and exploring opportunities to work together in creating meaningful and lasting impact in the communities they serve.

RCBH Joins Induction Ceremony of Rotary Club of Urdaneta

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) attended the Induction Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Urdaneta, joining fellow Rotarians in celebrating a new chapter of leadership, fellowship, and service. RCBH represents in the 1st Cluster 1C Meeting Led by AG Chris Faelnar

The first Cluster 1C Meeting, led by Assistant Governor PP Chris Faelnar, successfully brought together the Presidents and Secretaries of the Rotary clubs under Cluster 1C to strengthen collaboration and align club initiatives with the goals of Rotary District 3790. The meeting focused on enhancing coordination among member clubs, discussing district priorities, and ensuring a unified approach in implementing projects and activities throughout the Rotary year. It also served as a venue for fellowship, open communication, and the sharing of best practices among club leaders.

Key agenda items included the finalization of the Governor's Visit and induction schedules, the monthly meeting calendar and hosting arrangements, the presentation of district goals, and the standardization of club reporting and scoring systems. Participants also reviewed each club's preparedness for the Governor's Visit presentations, addressed concerns and updates from district officers, and agreed on action plans with clear timelines and assigned responsibilities. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from Cluster 1C leaders to work together in advancing Rotary's mission of Service Above Self through impactful and well-coordinated service projects.

Members of the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) attended the 37th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Pampanga North on July 22, 2026, held at Fortune Restaurant, Friendship Highway, Angeles City, Pampanga. The celebration marked another significant milestone in the club's history as it welcomed a new Rotary year and recognized the dedication and achievements of its outgoing and incoming leaders.

The evening was filled with fellowship, inspiration, and a renewed commitment to Rotary's mission of Service Above Self. The induction of the new set of officers symbolized a fresh beginning, while the turnover ceremony honored the accomplishments of the previous leadership. The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) successfully conducted its 2nd General Membership Meeting on January 23, 2026, with the timely theme "Maternal and Child Care." The meeting brought together club members in a meaningful fellowship focused on one of Rotary's Areas of Focus—promoting the health and well-being of mothers and children through education, awareness, and service.

The highlight of the meeting was an inspiring presentation by Dr. Jose Ursua, a respected Obstetrician-Gynecologist, who shared valuable insights on maternal and child health, emphasizing the importance of quality female diseases, prenatal care, safe motherhood, and the crucial role of healthcare professionals and communities in ensuring healthy outcomes for both mothers and children. The celebration marked another milestone in the club's history as it welcomed a new Rotary year under the leadership of President Leira S. Buan, with District Governor Ronald S. Dy serving as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The event brought together Rotarians from across the district in a spirit of fellowship, leadership, and service.
