🌍 Visionary Urban Planner

With over 55 years dedicated to shaping cities and communities, Prof. Nathaniel von Einsiedel has been at the forefront of ecosystem-based urban planning and design.
A graduate of UP, Columbia University, and Pacific Western University, he has held key leadership roles including first Commissioner for Planning of the Metro Manila Commission and Regional Director for Asia-Pacific of the United Nations Urban Management Program.

As Principal Urban Planner of CONCEP Inc., Prof. von Einsiedel has led transformative projects such as the Makati City Redevelopment Plan, Atria Township in Iloilo, and the Santa Lucia Eco-Township in Palawan, among others.

His lifelong work has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from the UP Alumni Association (2023) and the title of Fellow Emeritus by the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners.

Arch. Paulo Alcazaren is one of the Philippines’ leading voices in landscape architecture, urban design, and heritage conservation. With degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture from UP Diliman and a Master’s in Urban Design from the National University of Singapore, he has spent four decades consulting on over 150 projects in Asia and beyond.

He is also known for his roles as former Editor-in-Chief of BluPrint Magazine, current Editor-in-Chief of The Philippine Yearbook, and columnist for The Philippine Star. His advocacy includes bringing back open spaces, restoring sidewalks, and protecting historic cityscapes.

This year, Arch. Alcazaren will be joining the Vitality-Driven Spaces Annual Conference 2025 as a distinguished speaker and will receive the Top HALE Individual Award 2025 in recognition of his contributions toward wellness, livable cities, and sustainable design.

🌆 Advocate for Social Architecture
As the Principal Architect and Founder of WTA Architecture and Design Studio, Arch. William Ti Jr. is known for championing social architecture—design that builds communities and connects people.

He is the founder and director of Anthology Festival, Shelter Magazine, and The Book Stop Project, and is a regular voice in the public discourse through his City of Tomorrow column at the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Notable works include the Book Stop Project in Intramuros, the 419-hectare Horizon Manila master plan, the Emergency Quarantine Facilities deployed nationwide during the pandemic, and Riverlane, the first pedestrian bridge along the Pasig River.

Through WTA Labs, he continues to explore new concepts for the Human Environment, fostering collaboration among stakeholders and demystifying the design process to make architecture more accessible and impactful.
