Last July 5, we successfully concluded our first Sunday School session, where the children learned about the Apostles' Creed, the profession of our Catholic faith.

The Sta. Barbara Parish Youth Ministry invites all children ages 8โ€“15 years old to join our Basic Catechism for Children, a faith formation program dedicated to helping young people grow in their relationship with God and gain a deeper understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church.

We started our journey with the Bible Enthronement, placing God's Word at the center of our gathering and reminding us that true leadership begins with faith in Him. ๐Ÿ“–โœจ

The energy then came alive through our Animation/ Dance Session, where our young participants joyfully danced, and celebrated together, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, friendship, and enthusiasm. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’ƒ

With grateful hearts, we congratulate our delegates from Sta. Barbara Parish Virac Youth Ministry โ€” Joal Rhycel Gamboa, Hannalaine Joy Paras, and Rachel Camado โ€” for actively participating in the Diocesan Youth Day and Forum 2026 held last May 28โ€“30, 2026 at San Pablo Seminary Crystal Cave.

Together with fellow young people from across the Diocese of Baguio, they journeyed through days of faith formation, fellowship, learning, and leadership under the theme "Youth Leadership: Rooted in Faith, Called to Serve."

We also extend our appreciation to Alexandra Gabao, representing both the Sta. Barbara Parish Youth Ministry and the Vicariate of San Lorenzo Ruiz, for generously serving as one of the event facilitators and helping guide fellow youth throughout the gathering.

As they bring home the learnings and experiences gained from the Diocesan Youth Day and Forum 2026, may they faithfully share and re-echo these insights with the youth of our parish, inspiring more young people to grow as leaders who are truly rooted in faith and called to serve.
