This systematic review of 40 peer-reviewed studies highlights how dance as an instructional intervention supports learners with visual impairments by enhancing sensory-motor skills, social interaction, and communication, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and participatory learning environment. The study emphasizes that while dance may not directly address visual impairment, it plays a vital role in promoting inclusion, empowerment, and holistic development, ensuring that learners are not marginalized in educational spaces.
Grounded in the Louisian values of competence, compassion, and innovation, this publication advances meaningful contributions to inclusive education, aligning with ๐๐๐ ๐: ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง and ๐๐๐ ๐๐: ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ by advocating for equitable, accessible, and learner-centered practices for students with special needs.
We celebrate this impactful achievement in research that champions inclusion, dignity, and transformative education.
