CARCU conducted an ocular inspection and coordination visit in preparation for the upcoming Ilocos Norte Benchmarking Activity.

The visit focused on assessing the proposed venues, coordinating with the recommended cooperatives, and reviewing the activity flow to ensure a smooth, safe, and meaningful learning experience for all participants.

We extend our sincere appreciation to 1CISP for recommending the cooperatives to be visited and to San Joaquin MPC, Fatima Vigan MPC for supporting this valuable learning opportunity. Through benchmarking, CARCU aims to strengthen cooperative leaders and members by learning from successful practices, innovative programs, and inspiring cooperative experiences.

The consultation brought together cooperative federations and unions from across Luzon to exchange insights, strengthen collaboration, and discuss the formation of a unified apex organization.

Despite the rainy weather, the Cooperative Bank of Benguet successfully participated in its in-house seminar on “Mental Health, Stress Management, Burnout, and Workplace Recovery,” conducted by CARCU on August 8, 2026, at Rose Pine Hotel, Tomay, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The seminar provided practical insights on managing stress, recognizing burnout, protecting mental well-being, and creating a healthier and more supportive workplace.

Through insightful discussions, practical exercises, and shared experiences, the participants strengthened their skills in delivering responsive, respectful, and member-centered service.
