1 John 3:1–3 – Shaped and Redefined by God's Love

God's great love has made us His children. We are loved, valued, precious, and important in His family, and He has given us a purpose. Because we belong to Him, we have hope and assurance for the future. God is continually working in our lives, shaping us to become more like Christ. As we grow in understanding His love, we are inspired to live holy lives that honors Him. His love transforms us and gives us confidence to live with hope every day.

, let us boldly declare our identity as children of God. Do not let others redefine who you are, for God's love has already defined your true identity.❤️

1 John 5:13–15

As we abide in Christ, we can have the assurance of eternal life. While the world offers uncertain security through wealth, health, and relationships, our true security is found in Jesus. We trust His finished work on the cross, remain faithful to Him, and experience His life and presence each day.
Because we abide in Christ, we can confidently approach God in prayer, worship, testimony, and devotion. His Word shapes our thinking, His desires become our desires, and His presence gives us confidence and peace.
The blessings of our security in Jesus are the assurance of eternal life, confidence in approaching God, and the assurance that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will.

1 John 2:20–27
God’s anointing is His presence in our lives through the Holy Spirit. As believers, we are anointed by God to know His truth and remain faithful to Jesus Christ. This anointing protects us from lies and deception from those who reject Christ and His teachings. It also teaches and guides us in understanding God’s Word.
The passage reminds us to remain in the Lord because He promised eternal life to those who stay faithful to Him. True stability in faith comes from staying in God’s Word and knowing Jesus rightly. The Holy Spirit does not replace Scripture but confirms and strengthens the truth in our hearts.

1john 2:7-11

1 John 2:7–11 reminds us that love is more than simply being nice—it is the complete Christlike love shown by Jesus when He died on the cross. This is called a “new command” because Jesus gave love a deeper meaning through His sacrifice. Love is also evidence that we are walking in the light, and spiritual maturity is measured by how we love others. True love is revealed not only in what we feel, but in how we speak, forgive, pray, serve, and abide in Christ. In the end, our spiritual life is not measured only by how much doctrine we know, but by how genuinely we live in love.

Last Saturday’s youth 1st hiking fellowship snapshots 📸🤳 🏞️

Though not everyone was able to join, we are still thankful for the youth who came and shared laughter, stories, encouragement, and fellowship along the journey. This hiking activity reminded us that growing together in faith is not only inside the church, but also through moments of bonding and supporting one another. 🤍

Looking forward to more fellowship activities together with our co-youths! To those who weren’t able to come, we hope you can join us next time. God bless everyone! 🙏💚
