CITY HONORS VOLUNTEERS, RESPONDERS FOR POST-DISASTER ASSISTANCE

The City Government of Baguio recognizes the Joint Task Force Unit Panagkaykaysa, Baguio City Police Office, Barangay Andres Bonifacio, and Home Sweet Home Extended Family and Chapel Community for their valuable assistance during the clean-up drive following the Guisad Surong landslide.

Their volunteerism, cooperation, and dedication contributed to the clean-up and recovery efforts, helping restore and improve the affected area through their collective efforts.

The city also extended recognition to personnel of the Tactical Operations Group 1, Tactical Operations Group Reserve, 122nd Naval Combat Support Squadron Reserve, and 1401st Community Defense Center (1401st CDC), 14th Regional Community Defense Group (14RCDG), who were unable to receive their awards during the previous ceremony.

The recognition was presented during the Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony on September 14, 2026, at Baguio City Hall.

The 122nd Naval Combat Support Squadron (122nd NCSS) received a Certificate of Recognition from the City Government of Baguio for its bravery, dedication, and swift response during a Search and Rescue Operation at Guisad, Surong, Baguio City.

Presented on September 14, 2026, at the Baguio City Hall Grounds, the recognition honored the squadron’s efforts in helping save lives, provide relief, and protect the community despite challenging conditions.

The City Government commended the unit’s service as a testament to unity, compassion, and commitment to public safety, highlighting the important role of the Philippine Navy Reserve Force in supporting communities during emergencies.

The recognition further strengthens the 122nd NCSS’s commitment to remain ready to serve, protect, and respond whenever duty calls.

Quarterly Assembly Test ⚓

The Quarterly Assembly Test brought the 122nd NCSSR unit together for key updates on organizational matters, ongoing activities, accomplishments, and future initiatives, presented by LTJG ANN JUZETTE TOLEDO PN (RES)

The gathering was further highlighted by the message of CDR ANTHONY DE LEON, NFR-NL OIC, who served as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The activity concluded with photo opportunities and a Boodle Feast, fostering stronger camaraderie, unity, and esprit de corps among personnel. 🇵🇭⚓
