𝗨𝗕 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗝𝗔 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 from the University of Baguio proudly represented the institution at the 39𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗝𝗔 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, held alongside more than 7,300 delegates from different universities and organizations nationwide.
The 𝗗𝗔𝗬 1 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 took place at the 𝑺𝑴𝑿 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒍𝒂, while 𝗗𝗔𝗬 2 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗦 were conducted at 𝑫𝒆 𝑳𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑻𝒂𝒇𝒕 𝑨𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒖𝒆, 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒍𝒂. The UB Psyche delegates were accompanied by Psychology Program Faculties, Ma’am Lora Janis S. Dangatan and Ma’am Aira Jessa B. Palisoc throughout the convention.
Centered on the theme, “𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑠𝑦𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑦 : 𝑂𝑢𝑟 𝑅𝑜𝑙𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑆𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑏𝑎𝑙𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑝𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡" the convention became a meaningful platform for students, educators, and psychology professionals to exchange insights, strengthen advocacies, and explore psychology’s role in building resilient and sustainable communities.
The experience allowed the delegates to expand their knowledge, develop professional connections, and deepen their appreciation for psychology as a discipline rooted in compassion and social responsibility. More than an academic gathering, the convention served as an inspiring reminder that psychology continues to shape lives through understanding, service, and empathy toward others.
