The Department of Public Works and Highways - Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) hereby issues this advisory to all motorists and the general public:

🚧 SINGLE-LANE PASSABLE AND PUNCHED-THROUGH OPENED ROADS

Several sections of national roads are currently open to traffic on a one-way or punched-through basis to allow limited passage of vehicles while ongoing road clearing, rehabilitation, or slope stabilization works continue.

⚠️ PUBLIC WARNING:
These temporarily opened sections pose potential hazards due to the following:
> Narrow or single-lane passageways
> Uneven road surfaces or ongoing excavation
> Exposed slopes or unprotected edges
> Limited visibility during nighttime or inclement weather

Motorists are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, strictly observe traffic control signs and the instructions of flagmen or traffic personnel stationed along these areas.

The DPWH-CAR urges all road users to avoid unnecessary travel along these routes whenever possible for their safety and to facilitate the smooth progress of ongoing works.

The Department of Public Works and Highways – CAR, in coordination with the Metropolitan BLISTT Development Authority (MBLISTTDA), informs the public of the temporary closure of Kennon Road on 12 October 2025 (Sunday) to give way to the conduct of the “Hari ng Ahon Season 4 – Leg 1 Bike Challenge.”
