The IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter joins the Camacho family in mourning the passing of Hon. Danilo Paneda Camacho, Presiding Judge (Ret.), Regional Trial Court Branch 62.

With deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy, members and officers of the Chapter visited his wake at Purok 7, Maoasoas Norte, Pugo, La Union to pay their final respects and to honor a life dedicated to the service of justice and the rule of law.

Judge Camacho will be remembered for his integrity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the judiciary and to the legal profession. His contributions have left a lasting impact on the administration of justice and on all who had the privilege of working with him.

On behalf of the IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter, we extend our sincerest condolences to his bereaved family, relatives, friends, and loved ones. May they find comfort and strength in the memories of his exemplary life and service.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines โ€“ Baguio-Benguet Chapter proudly took part in the National Disability Rights Week Service Caravan organized by the Regional Committee on Disability Affairs (RCDA-CAR) on July 24, 2026, at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center.

In support of this year's theme, "๐ˆ๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง: ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐“๐จ๐ ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ," the Chapter, through the initiative of ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐…๐š๐ซ๐š๐ก ๐‚. ๐€๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐จ๐ฌ, the IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter, in collaboration with the ๐‹๐š๐๐ฒ ๐‹๐š๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐จ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ญ (๐‹๐‹๐๐), provided free legal aid services to persons with disabilities (PWDs) and other qualified indigent clients, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring that access to justice remains available to every member of the community, especially those in vulnerable sectors.

Through this meaningful collaboration with RCDA-CAR and partner agencies, the IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter continues to uphold its mandate of delivering accessible legal services, promoting the rights of persons with disabilities, and fostering a more inclusive and equitable society.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines โ€“ Baguio-Benguet Chapter participated in the Child Protection Committee (CPC) Program of Tublay Central Elementary School by conducting an orientation and advocacy session on Anti-Bullying, Child Protection, and the Responsibilities of Parents in Parenting.

Representing the Chapter as a resource speaker, ๐€๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ. ๐†๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐. ๐…๐š๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐จ shared valuable legal insights on protecting children's rights and welfare, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for every learner.

The orientation highlighted key provisions of DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 (Child Protection Policy) and DepEd-CAR Regional Memorandum No. 173, s. 2020, which introduced the Gender Responsive and Non-Discriminatory Student Discipline Manual (GRaNdSDisM). These policies reinforce the shared responsibility of schools, parents, and the community in promoting positive discipline, preventing bullying, and safeguarding children's rights.

In response to the invitation of the Barangay Government of Beckel, La Trinidad, Benguet, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines โ€“ Baguio-Benguet Chapter proudly participated in the Pan-Aspulan Fiesta 2026 by conducting a Free Legal Aid Service on 29 April 2026.

With the completion of these final outreach activities, the Chapter has successfully brought free legal consultation, legal advice, legal assistance, and notarization services to residents of the following barangays from May to July 2026:
