At BEWA, we remain committed to supporting, promoting, and advancing the local events industry.

To address recent discussions and provide proper context regarding our organization’s involvement, we are sharing this official statement for the information of our members, partners, and the public.

Thank you for taking the time to read and understand the full context of the matter.

02/05/2026

In light of recent discussions circulating within the events industry, we at BEWA would like to take a moment to encourage professionalism, respect, and mindful engagement, values that we stand for as a responsible community.

Aligned with the mission of Baguio Event Workers Association, we are committed to supporting one another, fostering collaboration, and uplifting every event worker with professionalism, respect, and integrity.

While concerns and feedback are valid and important, we strongly discourage participation in negative conversations, public shaming, or online bashing of any individual or supplier.

Situations shared online often present only a portion of the full story, and participating in speculation or criticism without full context can cause unnecessary harm not just to individuals, but also to this industry we all worked hard to build.

As professionals and as members of this community, we are called to lead and uphold standards of fairness, empathy, and respect. Let us continue to support one another by fostering constructive dialogue, addressing concerns through proper channels, and choosing empathy over judgment.

The events industry thrives on collaboration, trust, and shared purpose. May we protect that by being responsible with our words, both online and offline.

The strength of our industry lies in how we treat one another. Together, let us continue to create a culture rooted in professionalism, mutual respect, and genuine support.

At this time, let us continue to pray and to hope for a swift and graceful resolution to the matter, with understanding, accountability, and respect for all parties involved.

Thank you so much mga Ka-BEWA!
