“𝘛𝘶 𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘰𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘶𝘮”— 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫!

In a beautiful and solemn celebration of the 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 at the 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥, we joined our 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐞 in witnessing the sacred renewal of priestly promises, presided over by our beloved 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐧, 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝.

Your unwavering "𝐘𝐞𝐬" to the Lord is the heartbeat of our community. We thank you for your tireless sacrifice and for being the living hands and feet of the church.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛: 𝗔 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘 👣✝️

As we stand at the threshold of 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 looks back with overflowing hearts at the road we have traveled together. Our 𝗩𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 has come to its final station, marking the end of a spiritual pilgrimage that moved through the very 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Our journey began with quiet devotion at 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘇 𝗬 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗮𝗷𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹, found strength through the grace of 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹, and felt the stirring of hope at the 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆. Last Saturday, the faithful community of 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 (𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼) gathered in solemn prayer to witness the final steps of this year’s Way of the Cross. Together, we walked spiritually with 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝘆, remembering 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 and the depth of 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀. 🕊️✨

"𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬; 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩. 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯."

𝗔𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, our mission does not end here. While these specific walks have finished, our call to service is only beginning. As we enter the 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄, let us remain truly open and ready. May we stay steadfast in our commitment to remember the 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱.

May the grace we received from these chapels and from our mother church continue to guide us in our daily lives—inspiring us to live with 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, to serve others with 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, and to remain 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 as one parish community.

To every soul who has 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀—𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. As we look back on the grace of the past few days, we invite you to join us for our 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀.

Today, we celebrate not only your birthday but also the strength of your faith and the beautiful example you continue to show to everyone around you. Choosing to come to church and serve God despite your own struggles is truly inspiring. Your commitment reminds us that faith is not about having a perfect life, but about trusting God even in difficult seasons.

Your presence in our church family is a blessing. Through your quiet strength, kindness, and perseverance, you encourage others to keep going and to hold on to God’s promises no matter what challenges come our way.

As you step into another year of life, we pray that God comforts you in every hardship, renews your strength, and fills your heart with peace and joy. May He reward your faithful heart, guide your path, and surround you with His endless grace and love.

To every young soul who walked with us today at the 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘇 𝗬 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗮𝗷𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂!🤗✨

Seeing the youth of 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽, set aside the 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, lay down their 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, and embrace the 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 was incredibly moving.☺

Before we trace the 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀, we gather for the 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀. By praying the 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺𝘀 and leaning into the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱, we do more than just prepare our minds—𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. We pray first to ensure that when we begin the 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀, we aren't just walking out of habit or tradition. We are walking out of a 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱, 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗺.🙏

Today was a 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 that none of us have to 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲. But this is only the 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆.👣🤍
