AFP AT PNP, PINAYUHAN ANG MGA MAGULANG NA MAGING MAPAGMATYAG SA KANILANG MGA ANAK

Nagpaalala ang Philippine Army at Philippine National Police (PNP) sa mga magulang na maging mapagmatyag sa kanilang mga anak, lalo na sa paggamit ng social media at sa mga organisasyong kinabibilangan nila sa paaralan.

Inihayag ni 2Lt. Allan Felongco ng 17th Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division (5ID), Philippine Army, ang naturang paalala sa isinagawang Serbisyo Caravan sa Barangay Remus, Baggao, Cagayan.

Ayon kay Felongco, mahalagang mabigyan ng wastong paggabay ang mga kabataan upang hindi sila malinlang at mahikayat ng mga grupong maaaring maglagay sa kanila sa panganib.

Dagdag pa niya, bagaman idineklarang insurgency-free na ang buong Region 2, mahalaga pa ring maging mapagmatyag ang mga magulang at patuloy na gabayan ang kanilang mga anak upang mapanatili ang kanilang kaligtasan laban sa anumang banta o kapahamakan.

Samantala, sinabi ni PCPT Paolo Pagallaman ng 204th Maneuver Company, PNP na kabilang sa mandato ng kanilang yunit ang pagpapatupad ng kampanya laban sa terorismo at iba pang ilegal na aktibidad, kabilang ang ilegal na pagtotroso.

Binigyang-diin din ng mga opisyal na ang presensya ng AFP at PNP sa Serbisyo Caravan ay hindi lamang nakatuon sa pagpapanatili ng seguridad, kundi maging sa paghahatid ng impormasyon at mahahalagang paalala sa mga magulang bilang bahagi ng pagsusulong ng isang ligtas at mapayapang komunidad.

Today, Youth for Peace – Baggao Chapter proudly joins the entire Filipino nation in commemorating West Philippine Sea Victory Day—a historic milestone that reminds us to uphold truth, justice, peace, and our nation’s sovereign rights under the rule of law.

History teaches us that freedom is preserved not only by courage, but also by integrity, unity, and unwavering hope.

May this occasion inspire every Filipino—especially the youth—to deepen their love for country, safeguard our national heritage, and build a society rooted in faith, compassion, justice, and peace.

Let us continue to pray for our nation, our leaders, our modern-day heroes who guard our seas, and for lasting peace founded on truth and full respect for international law.

𝗟𝗔𝗟-𝗟𝗢, 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 — Nine local government units in the Province of Cagayan have approved resolutions declaring 𝟭𝟮 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝘀 “𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆,” reaffirming their support for the Philippines’ sovereign rights and maritime jurisdiction in the West Philippine Sea.

Other municipalities in the Province of Cagayan are likewise in the process of reviewing and approving similar resolutions, reflecting the growing support of local government units for the annual commemoration.

Through the approved resolutions, the above-mentioned local government units demonstrate their commitment to promoting patriotism, national awareness, and unity among Cagayanos. The initiative also encourages communities, particularly the youth, to understand the importance of peacefully and lawfully upholding the country’s sovereignty and sovereign rights.

The 17th Infantry Battalion expresses its appreciation to the local chief executives, vice mayors, members of the respective Sangguniang Bayan and Sangguniang Panlungsod, and other stakeholders who supported the passage and approval of the resolutions.

The approval of the resolutions highlights the important role of local government units in advancing public awareness and strengthening the whole-of-nation commitment to safeguarding the West Philippine Sea for present and future generations.

Cagayan, Philippines — 05 July 2026 — On the final day of the Cagayan Provincial Youth Leadership Summit 2026, Youth for Peace Cagayan officially announced the election of Mr. John Rocel Tabaldo, a native of the Municipality of Allacapan, as the new President of the organization.

Mr. Tabaldo has been an active member of Youth for Peace since 2021, consistently demonstrating his dedication to service, leadership, and the advancement of the organization’s core advocacies. His election reflects the trust and confidence of the members in his ability to lead and strengthen the organization’s mission.

In his statement, President Tabaldo expressed his sincere gratitude to all those who entrusted him with this responsibility, acknowledging their confidence in his capacity to lead, organize, and collaborate in achieving the shared goals of Youth for Peace Cagayan.

He further underscored his guiding principle in leadership, stating:
