We hereby release the official Campaign Rules for the upcoming election. These guidelines will govern all campaign activities during the prescribe campaign period.

These rules apply to all the qualified candidates, wether affiliated with a political party or running independently.

We expect every candidate to carefully review and comply with the stated regulations. These guidelines are in place to ensure a fair, orderly, and respectful election process for the entire learner body.

To prepare for the upcoming Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) elections for the school year 2026-2027 this coming March 5 & 6. A briefing and orientation session was held today, February 24, 2025, at 4:00 PM at BNHS Conference Hall. The session, led by the SSLG adviser Sir Julius Ray B. Diores and the current SSLG President Hon. Jay Gabriel S. Sangcopan, covered the election process, guidelines, and candidate responsibilities, ensuring that aspiring candidates understand their roles. It also provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and clarify any concerns regarding the election.

𝐍𝐘𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

The National Youth Commission (NYC) is encouraging all youth organizations registered under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) and members of Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs) to participate in the upcoming national and local elections.

ASec. Michelle Mae Gonzales, head of the Philippine Youth Development Plan Committee on Active Citizenship, stressed the importance of youth involvement in shaping the country’s future through voting.

In the 2022 elections, young voters made up about 35.37% of the electorate, with over 23 million registered youth voters, highlighting their influence in the democratic process.

NYC Chairperson and CEO Undersecretary Joseph Francisco Ortega said, “The youth are a powerful force in our nation, and their participation is crucial to ensure their voices are heard.”

Commissioner Gonzales added, “We urge all YORP-registered groups and LYDC members to vote and encourage their peers to do the same. Every vote counts.”
