LCC Foundation proudly joined the Blood Letting Activity organized by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) as part of its 35th Anniversary celebration. The activity was conducted in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Albayโ€“Legazpi City Chapter and gathered volunteers and stakeholders united by a common goal of helping save lives through blood donation.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, LCC Foundation continues to support programs that promote health, compassion, and community engagement. Through its participation in the blood donation drive, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships that create a positive impact on society.

Continuing its commitment to education, the LCC Foundation brought its Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026 initiative to Masbate Island through its participation in Brigada Eskwela 2026.

The Foundation provided school supplies to students of Amancio Aguilar Elementary School and Kinamaligan Elementary School, helping young learners prepare for the new school year. The initiative reflects the LCC Foundationโ€™s support for education and its belief that every child deserves access to quality learning opportunities.

In support of the Department of Education's Brigada Eskwela 2026, carrying the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan," the LCC Foundation participated in the Oplan Balik Eskwela program at Gogon National High School, reaffirming its commitment to education and community development.

As one of the partners in this year's Brigada Eskwela, the LCC Foundation provided essential school supplies to 100 incoming high school students, helping them prepare for the opening of classes and ensuring they have the basic learning materials needed for the school year.

The activity was made possible through the support and collaboration of Principal Jerry Nicol, Assistant Principal Delfin Bolaรฑos, and Officer-in-Charge Raymond Madraso, and Atty. Del Pilar who welcomed the initiative and expressed their appreciation for the Foundation's continued commitment to supporting learners.

Through this initiative, the LCC Foundation continues to champion education and promote the spirit of bayanihan by working hand in hand with schools and stakeholders to create a more supportive learning environment for students.

In response to the recent Mayon volcanic ashfall that affected several communities in Albay, the LCC Foundation Inc., in partnership with LCC Employee Engagement, successfully extended assistance and support to employees and partners through the distribution of Love, Care & Comfort packages under the Tuwang sa Tugang Mayon Operation Program.

The initiative was launched to provide relief and essential goods to employees and their families who were greatly affected by the ashfall in the municipalities of Camalig, Guinobatan, and Ligao. Through the distribution of these care packages, the organization aimed to help alleviate the basic needs of the affected communities while showing solidarity and compassion during this challenging time.

During the activity, a heartfelt message of encouragement and support was delivered by Ms. Devy Laad, Chief Human Resources Officer. In her message, she emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and extending help to one another, especially during times of crisis. She also reassured employees and partners that LCC remains committed to supporting their welfare and well-being.

The LCC Foundation Inc. and LCC Employee Engagement would also like to extend their sincerest gratitude to LCC Supermarket, sponsors, donors, and partners whose generosity and support made this initiative possible.
