𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐜 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬

December was truly a season of purpose, service, and celebration for Binibining Bagac. From spreading Christmas cheer to supporting meaningful causes, every activity reflected unity, compassion, and dedication to our community and environment.

Throughout the month, our lovely queens actively supported several meaningful initiatives. They graced the Christmas Lighting Ceremony at La Jolla last December 06, 2025, followed by the Paskong Bagakeño Christmas Lighting Ceremony on December 08, 2025, helping usher in the holiday spirit with joy and togetherness.

Demonstrating their commitment to environmental responsibility, they also helped deliver trash bins to the Pag-asa Pawikan Protection and Conservation Center Corp (3P3C). This small yet meaningful act supports environmental protection and wildlife conservation, contributing to the preservation of our marine life and natural resources.

In the spirit of giving, the queens also facilitated a Gift-Giving Activity at Sitio Gabon, Saysain, sharing smiles, hope, and love with the community, reminding everyone of the true essence of the Christmas season. Thank you to LGU Bagac headed by Mayor Ron Del Rosario and VM Ramil Del Rosario together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members, the Department Heads, Bagac Tourism and Eco Warriors for making this gift giving possible.

These meaningful moments remind us that true beauty shines through service, responsibility, and genuine care for both people and nature. Thank you to everyone who supported and made these activities possible.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our lovely sponsors during the Binibining Bagac Coronation Night held last November 23, 2025. Your generosity, trust, and support played a vital role in the success of the event and in empowering our queens to continue their advocacy and service to the community.

Project REACH: Repurposing Election Ads to Create Hope.
An upcycling initiative by 3P3C, MENRO Bagac, and Iskolar ng Bagac

In response to the expected surge in campaign-related wastes following the midterm elections, Project REACH aims to transform discarded election tarpaulins into purposeful, reusable items.

Tarps collected from the barangays of Bagac will be repurposed into durable market bags and thoughtfully designed tote bags—promoting sustainability, creativity, and environmental responsibility within the community.

Together, let us turn trash into hope.

Ngayong Filipino Food Month, ipinagdiriwang natin ang kalutong Filipino bilang bahagi ng ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan. Sa temang “Food as Culture: The Role of Gastronomy in Filipino Identity,” binibigyang-pugay natin ang mga lutong nagpapakita ng ating yaman, kasaysayan at pagmamalaking Pilipino.

Bilang bahagi ng selebrasyon, ipinapakilala namin ang opisyal na kalahok sa Food Trip Vlog Competition na mula sa Bayan ng Bagac.

Suportahan natin ang kanilang entry sa pamamagitan ng pag-like, pagbibigay ng positibong reaksyon, at pag-share ng kanilang vlog! Dahil ang pagkain, tulad ng ating kultura, ay dapat ipinagmamalaki at ibinabahagi, lalo na bilang isang tunay na Bataeño!

The biggest batch in history!

Today, we released 2150 olive ridley hatchlings. These babies are released on the beach to allow them to imprint. Imprinting involves the use of the earth's magnetic field to memorize the beach where they hatched (or in our case, released), so that they can find their way back once they're (female species) ready to lay their eggs.

Facing man-made and natural threats, their survival rate is 0 to 1%. One of the biggest threats they face is plastic pollution. A large number of sea turtles have been found to have ingested plastics which caused them their mortalities. We have to be very conscious with our consumption patterns to contribute to decreasing plastic pollution. Skip the straws, use re-usable containers, repair instead of buying new stuff, recycle and repurposed. These are just few of the things we can do to collectively help in saving these majestic creatures, and in extension, the planet. We all can do this. After all, we all live here.

Eco Warriors is one with the world in keeping our beaches clean. Today, our volunteers have rolled their sleeves and joined MENRO, 3P3C, and other local orgs in Bagac in cleaning up the coastline of Barangay Pag-asa.
We only have one planet. Let's save it, one clean beach at a time.
