As part of its regular endeavors under the General Plan of Action (GPOA), the Young Social Scientists' Society (YSSS), in collaboration with the HUMSS Society, successfully conducted TAPAT KO, LINIS KO, a campus-wide clean-up initiative that promotes environmental responsibility, discipline, volunteerism, and active student participation.

This regular activity was headed by the YSS President, Aljhan Penaflor, whose leadership and commitment inspired the officers and members to actively participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment. Together, they carried out the clean-up across various areas of the campus, including the HUMSS Museum, HE Building, ASSH Building, ICT Building, and the Administration Building.

As one of the Society's regular endeavors, TAPAT KO, LINIS KO reinforces the importance of civic responsibility and demonstrates that genuine leadership is reflected through service. Every area cleaned, every piece of litter collected, and every shared effort contributes to creating a more organized, healthy, and welcoming campus for the entire school community.

The Young Social Scientists' Society extends its sincere appreciation to all officers and members who generously dedicated their time, effort, and enthusiasm to this initiative. Your unwavering commitment embodies the values of responsible leadership, teamwork, and service.

Prayer for the Week

Heavenly Father,

As we begin another week, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of life, the opportunity to learn, and the privilege to serve others.

Fill us with wisdom to seek the truth, courage to stand for what is right, and compassion to extend kindness to everyone we meet. Help us use our knowledge and talents not only for personal success but also to make a positive difference in our school, our community, and our nation.

Teach us to work together in unity, to respect one another despite our differences, and to uphold the values of integrity, excellence, responsibility, and service. Strengthen our hearts to persevere through every challenge, remain humble in every achievement, and continue growing in character, faith, and purpose.

May our words inspire hope, our actions reflect love, and our decisions be guided by wisdom and understanding. Let us become instruments of peace, justice, and positive change wherever we are called to serve.

As we journey through this week, may Your presence guide our paths, protect our loved ones, and remind us that with You, every challenge becomes an opportunity to grow.

We entrust this week into Your loving hands.

In Your Holy Name, we pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."
— Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

As we begin this new week, may this verse remind us to place every goal, decision, and challenge in God's hands. When we entrust our work to Him, He gives us wisdom, strength, and direction to walk with purpose and confidence.

Have a blessed and productive week! ✨

LEADERSHIP SEMINAR & OFFICIAL LAUNCHING OF KKDAT 💛🤍

Last July 25, 2026, selected officers of the Young Social Scientists' Society (YSS Society) participated in the Leadership Seminar and Official Launching of Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) held at the Barangay San Nicolas III Covered Court. The event aimed to empower young leaders through meaningful discussions on leadership, collaboration, civic responsibility, and community service.

The seminar provided participants with valuable opportunities to strengthen their leadership competencies, broaden their perspectives, and reaffirm their commitment to becoming responsible, service-oriented leaders in both the school and the community. A key highlight of the program was the Drug Awareness Session, where participants gained a deeper understanding of the different types of illegal drugs, their harmful effects, and the importance of youth participation in promoting a safe and drug-free community.

The Young Social Scientists' Society extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Bacoor, particularly the Police Community Relations (PCR) Unit led by Pat. Donny N. Rata, for facilitating the seminar. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Nicolas III, under the leadership of Hon. Niña Cañete, for organizing this meaningful initiative. Special thanks are likewise extended to Mr. Jerick Morales Vacunaua, who inspired the participants by sharing his leadership journey and encouraging the youth to lead with integrity, purpose, and service.

The Young Social Scientists' Society commends our delegates for their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the seminar. Your participation reflects our organization's mission of developing competent, responsible, and socially conscious student leaders. We are confident that the knowledge, skills, and experiences you gained will inspire you to become catalysts for positive change within our organization, our school, and the wider community.

Together, let us continue to Inspire Leadership, Grow Together, Nurture Excellence, Innovate with Purpose, Transform Communities, and Empower Every Social Scientist.
