Every notebook, pencil, and learning material serves as a reminder that their dreams are worth supporting and that the community stands behind them every step of the way. This activity reflects CSA-B's commitment to fostering accessible education and empowering young learners through meaningful community engagement.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗘) officially launched its Outreach Initiatives on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, bringing together faculty members, student leaders, volunteers, and community beneficiaries in a shared commitment to service, education, and community development.

The activity introduced the flagship outreach programs of CLASE and its accredited student organizations, namely:
- 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 – 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙠𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙀𝘼𝙉𝙊: 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠 𝙆𝙖𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣, 𝙆𝙖𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣

The outreach initiative was conducted under the guidance of the 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐋. 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 and 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫, with the participation of officers and volunteers from the 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, 𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐂𝐒. The program successfully served more than 100 community recipients, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to deliver sustainable and meaningful extension services to the community.

The program formally commenced with the Opening Remarks delivered by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, who emphasized the importance of extending education beyond the classroom through genuine community engagement and service.

Following the opening program, the outreach initiatives of each organization were officially presented:
- 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 were introduced by 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮 𝗕. 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗴, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀.
- 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 (𝐏𝐂𝐒) – 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐔𝐒𝐇 was presented by 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝘆𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿.
- 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 (𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀) – 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐏 was introduced by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝘀𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀.

The event also featured interactive activities and games facilitated by the student organizations, fostering camaraderie and meaningful engagement with the community beneficiaries. Snacks were distributed to the participants, followed by the Closing Remarks delivered by Ms. Bernadeth L. Sullivan, MAEd, LPT, who expressed her gratitude to the faculty, student volunteers, partner organizations, and community members for their collective efforts in making the event a success.

The 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 signifies the College's continuing commitment to its extension mission by promoting education, psychosocial well-being, environmental stewardship, and community empowerment. Through the collaborative efforts of the CLASE Council, ESSA, and PCS, the College aims to establish sustainable partnerships that create lasting and positive impacts within the communities it serves.

𝐁𝐂𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

Progressive organizations, labor groups, youth organizations, and sectoral representatives under the organization of the Taumbayan Ayaw sa Magnanakaw at Abusado Network Alliance (TAMA NA) Negros joined the SONA ng Bayan Mobilization in Bacolod City, marching from South Capitol Road to the Bacolod City Government Center Replica at the Bacolod City Plaza alongside synchronized nationwide protests held during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA), calling for government accountability and action against bureaucratic corruption and pressing social and economic issues, held on July 27.

Carrying placards and streamers, participants staged cultural performances and sectoral presentations from labor, youth, women, urban poor, religious, and peasant groups while echoing TAMA NA's call, "Nasaan ang pananagutan? Nasaan ang lugar ng taumbayan?", urging greater public participation in demanding reforms and protecting the rights and welfare of Filipinos, as the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) implemented security and traffic measures to ensure the peaceful conduct of the mobilization.

𝙉𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 ✍️

In line with our commitment to meaningful community engagement, a 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 was successfully conducted in 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆. As the first among the participating groups to carry out this activity, the initiative marks the beginning of a series of community engagements aimed at identifying and better understanding the needs and priorities of partner communities.

The findings will serve as a foundation for the development of responsive and sustainable outreach initiatives.

The program concluded with inspiring closing remarks delivered by 𝘔𝘳𝘴. 𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘓. 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘯, 𝘔𝘈𝘌𝘥, 𝘓𝘗𝘛, 𝘊𝘓𝘈𝘚𝘌 𝘖𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, who emphasized the importance of collaboration and service in creating a lasting impact within the community.

Many hearts were warmed and faces lit up with smiles as the 𝐂𝐒𝐀𝐁 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐃 (𝘔𝘢𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘪𝘬𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢: 𝘐𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵), our very first outreach program for this school year!

Through fun icebreakers, lively presentations, and shared moments over snacks, the officers of PCS bonded with the wonderful children of the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬' 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐁𝐁𝐇𝐅𝐈). What started as quiet curiosity quickly turned into an afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and genuine connection.

Through the spirit of generosity and shared service, the Community Engagement Program Office (CEPO), in collaboration with the institution's Non-Teaching Personnel (NTP), conducted the distribution of school supplies to the daycare and Grades 1 to 4 learners of the Sitio Marikudo ATI Tribe in Isabela.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the NTP Club and its members for being partners in service and for embodying the Augustinian spirit of compassion and community. 🌿

Community Engagement Program Office (CEPO) of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod successfully held its External Partners Assembly, bringing together the institution's valued partner communities, institutions, and schools in a celebration of collaboration and shared commitment to community development last July 16, 2026.

The assembly recognized the unwavering support and partnership of the 𝗣𝗿𝗸. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯,𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 of E.B. Magalona, the 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘂𝗱𝗼 𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮 of the City Environment Management Office (CEMO) – Bago City, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗚. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, and 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. Their continued partnership has been instrumental in advancing meaningful and sustainable community engagement initiatives.

Beyond the recognition, the gathering provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue and collaboration. Partner representatives worked alongside Augustinian students and faculty in completing workshop activities that identified their communities' primary needs and reaffirmed their commitments toward future partnerships. These collaborative discussions will help guide CEPO's programs and initiatives in responding more effectively to the needs of its partner communities.

𝐂𝐒𝐀-𝐁 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

The Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Engagement (VPRIE) convened administrators, faculty members, and academic heads of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod for the Research, Innovation, and Engagement Assembly: Pathways to Excellence, at the CSA-B Auditorium on July 15.

Aimed at reinforcing the institution's commitment to research, innovation, and collaborative engagement, the assembly featured presentations by Roland S. Leonillo, Director of the Research and Publication Office; Altha Gracia P. Diopido, Director of the Community Engagement Program; and Donah L. Banaticla, Officer for External Relations and International Linkages, who discussed the programs, services, and strategic initiatives of their respective offices.

Participating faculty gained insights into opportunities to strengthen research productivity, community partnerships, and international collaborations through the offices under VPRIE.

The program officially concluded with a door prize raffle followed by the closing message delivered by Noeda M. Mademesila, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Engagement, encouraging the CSA-B community to continue advancing a culture of excellence in research, innovation, and institutional engagement.

The Health Services Office conducted a Health Education Activity at Prk. Villagracia, Brgy. Bata, focusing on "Signs of Life and Hypertension Awareness" last June 27, 2026.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Jansen Tabujara, together with two of our dedicated school nurses, who shared valuable knowledge on recognizing vital signs and raising awareness about hypertension.

This initiative reflects CSA-B's continuing commitment to promoting health literacy and empowering partner communities to make informed decisions for healthier lives.
