Empowering mothers, one skill at a time 💛

Last Saturday, April 11, 2026, a dishwashing liquid and fabric conditioner making activity was conducted at Sitio Roma, Brgy. Batea, E.B. Magalona.

This initiative aims to provide mothers with additional livelihood opportunities, especially during these challenging times when the rising cost of basic goods continues to affect many families.

This activity was initiated by the Senior High School Department, with special thanks to Ms. Cheryl Gem Abraham for her efforts, and to Sir Michael Mercader for delivering a financial literacy talk prior to the hands-on activity!

Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod joined over 800 participants at the Negros Occidental–Bacolod Earth Hour 2026 Culminating Ceremony at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon last March 28, 2026 (8:30–9:30 PM).

A powerful reminder that small collective actions can create big change for our environment. Together for the planet. Together for change.

A day of reflection and renewal ✨

The community came together for a Lenten Recollection inspired by the Augustinian way. Through the insights of Mr. Erwin C. Cangas, MA, LPT, we were reminded to grow in faith, live in harmony, and serve with love this Lenten season.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Cangas for sharing his time, wisdom, and inspiration with us. Grateful for a blessed Lenten Recollection with you.

In every mangrove planted, there is a promise of protection, sustainability, and life.

The recently concluded mangrove planting activity in Purok Calubay, Sampinit, Bago City, spearheaded by the SHS Outreach Coordinator in partnership with the Community Engagement Program Office, was a meaningful display of unity and purpose.

The activity was actively participated by the SHS Coordinator, faculty, PTA officer, and student representatives.

Special thanks to the SAS representative, Tiza Demetilla, and the EICT-A representative, Kyn Rocaberte, for their time and effort in contributing to the success of the activity.

𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚🌱

On March 14, 2026, the 𝘾𝘼𝘽𝙀𝘾𝙎 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 organized a Tree Growing Site Clean-Up at the Centro Sant’ Agustino Benedicto Retreat House in Don Salvador Benedicto.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the collaboration of the 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙨 (𝙅𝘼𝙄𝙎𝘼), 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙓), 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 (𝙃𝙈 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗), 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮, in coordination with the Community Engagement Program Office of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod.

Together, student leaders and volunteers cleaned and prepared the area for the upcoming tree growing activity, demonstrating teamwork, environmental stewardship, and our shared commitment to sustainability. 🌿

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱-𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

CEPO facilitated a dishwashing liquid-making activity at the Purok Villagracia Child Development Center, together with our CSA-B BED SHS Immersees and the wonderful members of the Mothers’ Club.

This initiative aimed to equip our Nanays with practical skills that can help in daily household needs and even open opportunities for small livelihood ventures. 💛

𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

In response to the fire incident that affected families in Brgy. 10 last January 24, we were able to extend help and support through relief assistance made possible by the generous hearts of the Augustinian community.

This act of solidarity reminds us that when we come together as one Augustinian family, no one is left behind. Thank you for being instruments of love and service. 🙏

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 | 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝟭𝟬

In January 24, 2026, a fire incident struck Brgy. 10, leaving several families displaced and in urgent need of support.

In response, the Community Engagement Program Office (CEPO) is calling on our community to extend help through cash and in-kind donations to assist the affected families as they begin to rebuild and recover.
