Finding God in the silence was at the very heart of our Corporate Praise and Worship last Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Led by our prayer leaders, Bro. Armand and Sis. Sari Suarez, last Tuesday’s worship reminded us that our faith deepens when we persevere in Prayer, even when God seems silent and His answers feel delayed.

Reflecting on the Gospel of Matthew 15:21-28 and the persistent faith of the Canaanite woman, we were reminded that God’s mercy breaks through every obstacle. In moments of pain, doubt, and waiting, may we always remember that God’s silence never means His absence. He is quietly working, shaping our hearts, and preparing us for His perfect time.

As the God of silence leads us inward, we discover that the quiet dark is not emptiness, but a sacred space where He molds our hearts.

“O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.” - Matthew 15:28

May we continue to enter the depths of our hearts, where God patiently awaits us. May we always remember that He is right there, inviting us to trust, coming to Him again, and again, and again, just like the Canaanite woman who persevered and found mercy and healing for her child.

“What you see is simple. What you receive is divine.”

Last Friday, August 14, 2026, at our CCE, we were blessed to hear and learn about The Mystery of Transubstantiation from our resource speaker, Rev. Fr. Rocelo "Celoy" Villarosa.

We gained a deeper understanding of the profound reality of Christ’s presence in the bread and wine and the true beauty of the Holy Eucharist. We were reminded that the Eucharist is not just a sign or symbol but a real encounter with Jesus Christ Himself: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

Fr. Celoy also reminded us of the sacred role of silence in the liturgy and how to properly prepare our hearts to receive Him worthily. Every Holy Communion is indeed a personal, intimate encounter with God.

Thank you, Fr. Celoy, for helping us rediscover the Eucharist as the true source and summit of our Christian life!

May we carry this truth into our daily lives, approaching the altar with humble, prepared, and reverent hearts. 🕊️

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 🙏💙

As one of the Four Marian Dogmas of the Catholic Church, today's Solemnity reminds us of our hope in the promise of eternal communion with God - body and soul.

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, the Assumption is a Holy Day of Obligation. Let us joyfully fulfill this sacred obligation by participating in the Holy Mass and celebrating this beautiful mystery of our faith.

O Blessed Virgin Mary, assumed body and soul into Heaven, pray for us, that we may one day share in the glory of your Son. 🙏
