Sometimes, in the middle of a difficult season, God sends a quiet reminder of His presenceโnot necessarily an immediate answer, but a grace that helps us continue.
Recently, through the ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, I received beautiful Catholic sacramentals and prayer materials after enrolling friends and loved ones who could sincerely commit themselves to praying the Holy Rosary.
The enrollment required fifteen people. Since most of those I enrolled are from Manila while I am now in Bacolod, I carefully chose those whom I knew could faithfully make time for daily prayer.
Quite unexpectedly, my friend Mhai, who is also from Manila, was included as well.
What began as a simple invitation to pray became a beautiful experience of God's providence.
I had only recently followed the organization when one of their testimonies appeared on my Facebook feed. It caught my attention, and I eventually decided to participate.
The package was sent on Monday.
Three days later, it had already arrived in Bacolod.
I was amazed by how quickly it came, especially knowing that ๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐ญ.
What I could offer in return was simply sincere prayerโand that alone made the experience even more meaningful.
Inside were a ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ, ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ซ, prayer booklets, ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฒ materials, and other devotional items.
Among them was a beautiful ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐๐กรฉ๐ซรจ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฒ, which immediately brought me so much joy. There were also additional rosaries that I can share with my family and others who may need one.
I look forward to having these sacramentals blessed and putting them to good useโnot merely as beautiful objects, but as reminders of a life rooted in prayer and devotion.
For sacramentals are meant to point us beyond themselves.
They remind us of God,
Encourage devotion ,
And lead our hearts back to prayer.
And perhaps that is why receiving them at this particular time felt so meaningful.
There are seasons when we carry burdens quietly, when answers seem uncertain and the path ahead is difficult to see. Yet God's faithfulness does not depend upon our circumstances.
The saints teach us that holiness is not the absence of suffering, but fidelity to God through it.
So when this package arrived, I saw more than sacramentals.
I saw a gentle reminder:
๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ๐.
A Rosary can become an offering.
The scapular that reminds us of our devotion.
A medal can call to mind the intercession of the saints.
And the testimony reached us at exactly the right moment.
Even a small package can become an unexpected encouragement to persevere.
What may appear ordinary can become, through God's providence, a quiet grace.
We do not always have to understand what He is doing before we trust Him.
We do not need to see the entire path before taking the next faithful step.
We simply need to remain close to Him.
Bring your burdens to prayer.
Entrust them to God.
Ask the saints for their intercession.
And continue walking in faith.
I am deeply grateful to the ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง for these sacramentals and prayer materials, and for the opportunity to participate in an apostolate centered on the Holy Rosary.
More than the things received, I am grateful for the reminder they carry:
๐๐ซ๐๐ฒ๐๐ซ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐.
God continues to work even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
His providence remains present even when the answer seems delayed.
And whatever season we may be passing through, we can always return to the same source of hope:

May the Blessed Virgin Mary lead us ever closer to her Son.
May All the Saints in heaven intercede for us.
May every Rosary prayed become an offering of love.
And may every sacramental we receive lead us not merely to devotion, but to a deeper relationship with Christ.
Whatever you may be carrying today, remember:

Pray.
Trust.
Persevere.
And place everything in the hands of God.
