Every rag tells a story of hope.

With every purchase, you help a mother in the mountains of Minoyan, Murcia provide a warm meal for her family.

Your simple act of support becomes food on the table, care for children, and hope for tomorrow.

The Rotary Club of Bacolod South would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the six volunteer doctors from The Doctors Hospital, Inc. and one volunteer doctor from Corazon Locsin Memorial Regional Hospital for serving 107 patients from Brgy. San Miguel and Brgy. Minoyan—both upland barangays in Murcia, Negros Occidental—through free medical consultations.

We also sincerely acknowledge Felix G. Yusay Foundation, Inc. for providing all the prescribed medicines to the 107 patients. The foundation is named after Felix G. Yusay, a philanthropist and charter member of our club, the Rotary Club of Bacolod South.

The Yusay Foundation’s partner, the 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, also extended their support by giving a meaningful talk to the youth on “Responding to Sexual Abuse, Gang, and Fraternity Violence.”

These service activities were conducted in collaboration with RCC – Don Bosco and St. John Bosco Parish & Shrine.

The event was held at the Don Bosco Gym on February 22, 2026.

Empowering Women, Saving Lives.
The Rotary Club of Bacolod South successfully held a Cervical Screening Project in Brgy. Maao, Bago City, in partnership with our sister club, the Rotary Club of Iloilo South, and the Philippine Dental Association – Negros Occidental Chapter, who also provided vital dental health care education to the community.

This initiative strongly supports one of Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus — Disease Prevention and Treatment, by promoting early detection, health education, and accessible care for all women.

We are honored by the presence of Hon. Marina Javellana-Yao, City Mayor of Bago, whose support and advocacy for women’s health inspired the success of this event.
Together, we continue to build healthier communities—one woman, one family, one barangay at a time. 💙✨

🌟 Rotary Club of Bacolod South in Action: “Kalayaan Mo, Hangad Ko” 🌟
In the spirit of compassion and service, the Rotary Club of Bacolod South successfully conducted a Jail Visitation Project at the Talisay and Silay BJMP, through our initiative “Kalayaan Mo, Hangad Ko” — a heartfelt effort to extend hope, dignity, and care to our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

This meaningful project was made possible in collaboration with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) – Negros Occidental Chapter, who generously offered free legal consultations to assist the PDLs in their pursuit of justice and freedom.

As part of our commitment to uplift lives, our club also distributed soaps, and slippers — simple yet thoughtful tokens to remind them that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.
Together, we continue to embody the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self”, believing that even behind bars, there is always room for hope, dignity, and a chance for a better tomorrow. 💙

💙 Madamo gid nga Salamat! 💙
(Thank you very much!)

In just 2 days, through your kindness and generosity, we’ve raised ₱40,046 — enough to provide 320 durable 20-liter plastic water containers, filled with clean drinking water for the Cebu earthquake victims.

That means 320 families will now have safe, life-giving water to drink during this difficult time. 💧

But our mission doesn’t stop here. 🙏
Many more families are still in need of clean water.
Every ₱125 you share = 1 water container for another family in need.

Let’s keep the compassion flowing. 💦
Together, we can help Cebu rise again — one container, one family, one act of kindness at a time.

📦 Donations still open!
Be part of the hope. Be part of the healing. 💙

💧 “₱125 for Hope: Water for Cebu” Campaign 💧

Let’s come together to help our brothers and sisters affected by the recent earthquake in Cebu.

For only ₱125, you can provide one (1) water container filled with clean, filtered water — a simple gift that means life, relief, and hope to those in need.

Here’s how your donation makes an impact:
• 🩵 ₱125 = 1 durable plastic water container
• 💦 Filtered water will be provided for free by Sto. Niño Orphanage
• 🚚 Delivery to Cebu will be handled for free by a Rotary Club of Bacolod South member who owns a logistics company
• 🤝 Distribution will be guaranteed by the Vincentian Foundation, reaching victims in far-flung areas who cannot easily receive government ayuda

Every ₱125 means a family gets access to safe drinking water in this time of crisis.

📦 Let’s fill Cebu with kindness—one container at a time.
