A beautiful day of camaraderie, warm hospitality, heritage, food, and service with the Zonta Club of Iloilo!
Our heartfelt thanks to our Zonta sisters in Iloilo for warmly hosting us and making our day tour truly memorable. It was more than just a tour—it was an opportunity to connect, learn, and appreciate the rich heritage and culture of Iloilo.
We were treated to wonderful local experiences, from visiting Molo Mansion and discovering the stories behind Iloilo’s rich heritage to enjoying delicious local food and delicacies. Thank you for introducing us to the flavors of Iloilo—from our lunch at Punot Restaurant, to coffee and delicacies at Molo Mansion, and the much-loved Roberto’s Siopao and other local favorites.
We are also grateful for the comfortable stay at Seda Iloilo, which added to the warmth and enjoyment of our visit.
What made the experience even more meaningful was learning about the community projects and initiatives of the Zonta Club of Iloilo. We had the opportunity to experience Iloilo not only as visitors, but also through the eyes of a community that cares deeply about its people.
We were especially inspired by the library and reading spaces for the children of market vendors, providing them with a place to read and learn while their parents work. We also visited the Iloilo Central Market, the Mercado Library, and the reading facility at the public plaza—beautiful examples of how small spaces can create meaningful opportunities for children.
Our appreciation also goes to the local government of Iloilo for the warm welcome and for providing the coaster that made our tour convenient and enjoyable.
From heritage sites to local food, from markets to libraries, and from friendship to service, this day reminded us that there is beauty in unity when women come together not only to celebrate friendship but also to serve communities.
