As part of the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls, the Zonta Club joined hands with the Z Club of Domingo Lacson National High School (DLNHS) for a meaningful mangrove planting activity at the Eco Trail, Victorias City.

This activity is a reminder that protecting our environment goes hand in hand with protecting women and girls—both are acts of nurturing life, building resilience, and creating a safer, more sustainable future for the next generation. 🌍✨

Thank you to our dedicated Zontians, passionate Z Club members and teachers of Domingo Lacson National High School led by Principal Ms. EJ Sy and Z Club Coordinator Ms. Reneliza Llavore, the LGU of Victorias City headed by Mayor JunB Bantug, Ms. Kath Torres, Sir Owen of VCENRO and team who made this activity possible.

Together, we plant hope, grow advocacy, and stand united in saying NO to violence and YES to a healthier community.

Barangay RSB, La Carlota City

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 💛

With hearts full of compassion, the Zonta Club of Bacolod City reached out to the affected families in Barangay RSB, La Carlota City, bringing food packs, clothes, and essential supplies to those impacted by the recent typhoon Tino.

This act of service reflects Zonta’s enduring mission — to build a better world for women and girls — and our faith in God’s call to love and serve one another, especially in times of hardship.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Zontian sisters, Area 3 Clubs ZC Cebu Z1, ZC Cebu II, ZC Davao and ZC Metro Iloilo, Women of Grace and private individuals whose kindness made this outreach possible. May we continue to be instruments of hope and blessings to our communities. 🌾🙏

LIFT Plus Project Launch: “True Love Waits” Rally at Domingo Lacson National High School Gymnasium

The LIFT Plus Project (Life Improvement for Teens) was officially launched today at the Domingo Lacson National High School Gymnasium, bringing together the energy and excitement of more than 800 senior high school students.

With the theme “True Love Waits,” the rally underscored the importance of values formation, self-respect, and wise decision-making as foundations for empowering today’s youth. Inspiring sessions challenged students to rise above life’s pressures, uphold purity, and embrace their calling as leaders of the future.

The event was graced by Assistant School Superintendent and OIC-Principal, Dr. Randolf G. Aleman, together with various community partners and stakeholders, whose presence and support highlighted a shared commitment to youth empowerment and holistic development.

The launch was spearheaded by the Zonta Club of Bacolod, in collaboration with the Zonta Z Club of Domingo Lacson National High School, and supported by the Bacolod Youth Pastoral Leaders and other local organizations. Together, they aim to guide teens toward strong values, prevent teenage pregnancy, and raise a new generation of responsible leaders.

This milestone marks the beginning of a series of LIFT Plus Project activities designed to strengthen families, promote healthy relationships, and empower young people to live with purpose, faith, and integrity.

Promoting Healthy Smiles, Empowering the Youth!

The Zonta Club of Bacolod, through the Z Club of Domingo Lacson National High School (DLNHS), in partnership with the Bacolod City Health Office (BCHO), successfully conducted a Dental Mission last Friday, August 15, 2025.

A total of 39 learners from DLNHS availed of the free dental services provided by BCHO dentists Dr. Marvi Depasucat and Dr. Frances Cadagat, which included much-needed tooth extractions.

The Z Club of Domingo Lacson National High School recently took part in the leadership training “UNCOMPROMISED: The Powerful Impact of Integrity in Leadership”—a special gathering designed for youth, campus frontliners, and disciple-makers.

The event was a powerful reminder that true leadership is built on integrity, respect, and responsibility—values that strengthen not only our campuses and communities but also the foundations of family, women’s empowerment, and children’s rights.

As Pastor Carlo Panlilio shared, leaders who walk in integrity inspire change that uplifts others, protects the vulnerable, and nurtures the next generation. We are grateful for the shared passion to raise leaders who embody both excellence and compassion.
